2. Average or 24 in ODIs.

What is really really strange is that Indian Management has indicated that Harshit Rana is being considered as backup to Bumrah.

seems to be odd and fishy.

Averages 38 in the last 15 ODIs, was rubbish in the latest ICC event and had a very low impact rating.

Pace has dropped a lot since he started playing regularly and does not have the accuracy to compensate.

He looked decent enough.

Test matches have little to do with ODI bowling. Play Mir Hamza, Abbas and Khurram in ODIs and youll see the difference.

Ok… Arshdeep and Harshit Rana are better ODI bowlers right now and should have been preferred.

I am GLAD he is not there. Siraj takes a lot of top order wickets, probably just as many as Bumrah.

He doesn't. Don't mix formats. Even in the Test series, he took a lot of inpactless wickets as well.

He's nowhere close to Bumrah or Shami in ODIs.

I don't understand whatever point you are trying to make . Siraj is out of form and pace and bowled with a niggle in BGT.

Rana is the next in line and he got a spot here in the series.

Despite usual brainfade selections from rohit, India won due to few individual's brilliance and Bumrah's magic throughout the tournament. Jaiswal was much better than rohit and kohli but was left out.Rinku wasn't picked over useless dube.kuldeep wasn't picked on that awful ny pitch against pak.In odis there is more time to play and all the issues will come out in open unlike t20s.

India have to win 4 out of 5 matches to go through and win the tournament. All 4 matches are in suitable conditions where they will have better team for the condition than the others.

It's probably not the best Indian team but it's not a bad team to win 4/5 games in UAE.

I will prefer a horrible exit from first round than the leeches like rohit, kohli, jadeja, kl playing till wc 27 and doing a long term damage to the team
