As the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 kicks off tomorrow, all eyes are on the speedsters who will light up the tournament!

Keep an eye out for bowlers like Jofra Archer (England), and Kagiso Rabada (South Africa), and let’s not overlook the young guns! Nahid Rana, Bangladesh’s fastest-ever bowler, is ready to make his mark, while Shaheen Afridi and Haris Rauf will be looking to dominate in home conditions with their searing pace and swing. who are known for their blistering pace and could be the ones to watch for the fastest delivery of the tournament

Who do you think will claim the title of the fastest bowler?

Wood's top end speed is not what it was maybe 2 years ago.

Still, it should be between Wood, Archer, Rauf, O Rourke, Spencer, Nahid for all the 90 mph + stuff

Wood would be fastest.
Archer 2nd.
Rauf 3rd may be.
...
...
Rest of them to bowl odd 90+mph occasionally for their countrymen to get excited.

Slowest of the lot(India).

Can't believe we have 5 specialist spinners in the squad. From the days of Shashtri to this useless fellow Gambhir. What a fall!!!

Mark wood for sure and if haris rauf was fully fit he would have been close to him as well.

Slowest are gonna be the indians.

I would say Jofra followed by Wood.

Rauf I think is just too cooked, the PCB literally had him playing every match he was available for and he is down at least a yard of pace.

Hopefully the downtime during recovering from injury has allowed him to recover most of his pre-season form but am not convinced with his fitness now, there’s a reason other countries don’t run such quicks into the ground, the PCB function on one brain cell however.

yeah wood be on top for sure

Rauf is just losing his pace so i think he wont be in top 5

Shaheen, Naseem, etc. all have lost significant pace. Pakistan just cannot manage fast bowlers

Time has come... Frist game of the tournament is on and Shaheen has the ball in hand... 145 KPH loading...

All three Pakistan pacers have bowled over 140ks as expected.
Pakistan pace in t20 and odi is top notch

But in tests there is serious stamina issues. Maybe fitness culture issues. Or priority is short format but yes for LoI pace is really good

Lazy players too maybe

Will be a saffer if they had their full strength pace attack

I would say perhaps Rana nahid from bangladesh
Or mark wood

Much better in comparison to Pakistan's pacers.
