This World Cup, we will have a few express pacers, Mark Wood, Jofra Archer, Haris Rauf, Mitchell Starc, Lockie Ferguson, and Mohammad Siraj. Or could a new standout pacer emerge? Who will bowl the quickst delivery of the tournament?

Canada's Jeremy Gordon looks impressive. Even at 37 he has recorded speeds of 143.

Poll added guys.

I think Mark Wood is going to be the fastest bowler of this tournament. This guys was bowling at some 156-157 KPH against Pakistan in recent series.

Mark Wood is slightly quicker than Lockie , Rauf, Archer, Nortje even when these guys are bowling at their quickest.

So it's gotta be him.

So far Nortje has been bowling nice and fast. Target set for the Haris Rauf

In terms of speed Haris Rauf and probably will be belted for a 6 as well.

Lockie. Alzarri and Nortje other contenders.

There is no competition to Mark Wood when it comes to pace. He's the fastest bowler in the world and it's note even close. Every other express pacer's effort fast ball is Wood's casual ball. And then when he wants, he can crank it up to numbers the others can only imagine.

If Shaheen wasn't overused and abused and injured, he would have been one of the names up there. It's so unfortunate that he isn't even considered a 'fast' bowler anymore but rather a fast medium guy. He was vicious when he could bowl around 145-150

Watch the highlights of WT2021. Specially against India. Guy bowled near 150KPH inswinging yorker to Rohit Sharma.

Mark Wood vs Scotland in Barbados

144.3 kph
151.6 kph
149.5kph

Nortje is looking seriously quick these days i think he is the one who can easily get the fastest delivery in this world cup.

woods speed in terms of average is silly take out slower balls and it was 149kmh against Scotland first 2 overs . Archer was at around 142kmh average , it will be interesting to see if he is as quick after all his injury problems as 4 or 5 years ago he was up at 155kmh .

Nortje , Rauf and Ferguson are all capable of one off balls above 155kmh so it's not certain Wood will bowl the fastest 1 off ball .

Starc shouldn't even be on the list I don't think he's gone much over 145kmh in the last few years seems to consistently operate between 140-145 though .

Shaheen is bowing with a good pace, he just bowled 143.8 kph delivery on this slow track which is quite imressive.

Jofra Archer bowled a decent 19th over with an average speed of 120 Km/h.

He bowled cutters into the pitch as a strategy to minimize run. Our bowlers need to learn something from it.

Shaheen Shah Afridi has just bowled a delivery at 138 KPH, but I'm concerned about when he'll find his pace rhythm back

Mustafizur Rehman is bowling with an average speed of 130 Km/h at the moment but still South Africa founding it tricky to play shots against him.

Amir is bowing at a mediocre pace of 133 KPH against Canada so far. He has lost a good few KPH since his comeback.

Haris is bowling at a good pace. Not express but he is hitting that 142-143 constantly.

147kph thunder from haris rauf to end the spell of 4 overs against Canada.

Mark wood is just bowled 149.6 kph delivery against West Indies in his very 1st over, this guy has some serious pace!

Jofra Archer steaming in with a magnificent bowling speed of 139.1 kph. Only to get thrashed for sixes by Quinton De Kock.

In this World Cup, we haven't seen much consistent speed, such as consistent 150kph bowling.

After bowling a few slower balls at 115 kph, Jofra Archer shifted gears and unleashed a scorching delivery at 145.6 kph
