ICC CT 2017, 1st Semi-final | England v Pakistan | 14th June, 2017 | Cardiff | Pakistan Innings

reverse swing made all the difference!

Pakistan has been doing reverse swing since 90's so not a biggy. Yes struggled a bit with it over last few years but Juni, hassan, Amir and even Raees knows the art

From BBC commentary:

Mike Bell: The way Pakistan are batting and England are bowling, England could have got 400 and it wouldn't have been enough.
Steady on there !

England is not going to forget this phainty, sadly everytime they find a team to give them one, just last year Carlos smacked Stokes and now this.

Just compared to this england bowling. Still few overs left so English bowlers may still get some reverse swing and make difference. lets see

Hasan MoM again.

Normally, it's the MoM type of player gives a clue of how dominant a side is. If for a bowling first winning side, MoM is bowler or batting first winner's MoM is batsman, it indicates that the game was won in 1 innings.

Bowling first, bowlers have taken the contest out, or batting first someone has taken the target beyond reach. More or less, in this tournament as well, one sided matches indicates that.

Is it India(most likely) or Bangladesh in the final does not matter, Pakistan gonna win this CT 2017.

This is some performance by Pakistan. Can't remember the last time Pakistan finished off a top opponent so clinically in an ODI. Well done guys! Hopefully we'll see you in the final if we manage to beat BD.

MMHS, this approach good enough lol?

Has to dominate the game.

For me, domination is don't allow opponents to implement their plan. If they are placing 4 men on line to stop boundary & make the contest tight - take singles at will so that the fielding side is forced to close in. If they are putting fielders to choke singles - hit out, so that they are forced to spread out.

This is ODI batting dominance I have seen from viv richards & 48 years counting, not seen anything to change that.

The intent in batting today is shockingly good. Especially from Babar.

Need to win by 8 or 9 wickets to send a statement.

indian fans chanting indian slogans in a pak vs england match

these indians do try to penetrate pakistani match with their fans and commentators indian fans are so desperate (im not generalizing all fans)

born trolls..lol

On top of their game inching closer to an ICC final who could have thought in their wildest dreams not even the most optimistic of fans this team more dud than Inzi's Caribbean side but has lived up to expectations

I have to say, I wasn't convinced with Pom's ODI strategy, which I think we have debated several times & I stick to that - this game is handicapped to bowlers, so one has to build a champion team around that.

I understand, their advantage is that their 1st choice bowlers can bat - but, me thinks, they need to look at their 1st choice bowlers then.

The big test for Pakistan is whether they can chase higher totals than this.

Pakistan since the 2015 WC have failed to chase 250+ scores on 7 out of 11 occasions. Bowling won't fire all the time, batsmen need to step up in the final too.

Just 60 more #theunthinkable

Meanwhile BBC still considering Pakistan a minnow headlines like Pakistan shock Eng in SF

Pathetic from Babar - should have cost ECB one ball. That long hop should have reached the channel...

Kya yaar Babar.. reduce dots. It is fine for today may hurt in future.

That is the question

It's unlikely we can put a THIRD great bowling performance in a row and have to chase under 230
