ICC CT 2017 : Group B | South Africa [299/6] beat Sri Lanka [203] by 96 runs

wow game should have been over 15 minutes back. Still 4 overs to go. Captain can't play next match

As happened in the last two matches as well, teams are struggling to hit out in the last 10 despite having solid foundations. I wonder is it due to the extra man on the boundary in the last 10.

But this rule has been there for more than an year but in recent bilateral there haven't been any cases like this so it's really strange pattern which has been emerged in these 3 CT matches.

Average innings by Amla. Certainly the least impressive hundred of the tournament so far. Played for his milestone once he got into the 90's.

Posting it in every thread so that you get a response. Next thing we know you would be posting about Amla's innings on Pak vs India threads as well.

TBH pitch isn't that easy but still by him once he reached 90s which could have hurt any other team

Where are the Yorker's?

They are only conceding 5-6 runs an over even without the yorkers. Typical from Saffers beat everyone black and blue in bilaterals but come an ICC tournament and they struggle against even SL.

Desperation have gotten better of wiser men than him. So let him go.

Except, you know, the last bilateral or the last time we faced SL in the WC...

He is making sa look like they have been winning world trophies left right and center.

And you keep insulting my team in almost every post. I would actually consider reporting you for trolling if it wasn't for one or two decent posts.

Exactly.

They forget the constant insults. Can't take it when you throw it back at them. Cowards.

No insult... Im actually rooting for SA, but this performance is hella disappointing whichever way you look at it.

SL have done well to restrict SA to below 300. SA were in a commanding position earlier.

It always good to root for underdog in a neutral match. Even if SL end up losing they have made sure they are no pushovers.

Target might be too much for Lanka against Saffer bowling

You've got to be joking. Your contribution to this thread as a whole has been negative. In fact, I think that is your actual intention.

SA have put up a way below par performance than what was expected of them as a better team so how I could throw praise for such a lackluster performance? But still best of luck to SA till finals, it will be mother of all chokes if they somehow reach finals, most likely vs England or Australia.

There's more than one way to show your support for SL. Constant insults to the opposition team is the lazy way.

You can take your luck and shove it with the attitude of assuming we'll automatically choke in the final (should we reach it).

If SL don't lose more than 2 wickets in first 15 overs then it's game on.

Sl batting >>> their bowling

All up to Rabada n Tahir now.

Kagiso is just 22 and is the Num 1 ranked bowler in the format. Wow!

Yeah, it's quite amazing. Pollock was talking about advising him and his father that he should play in county cricket to develop his skills. They clearly listened. Good for him, it paid off.

Any other Talented Black bowlers emerging in SA?

Rabada might be 22 but he doesn't look a day older than 18. Amazing talent. Just as I type that out he drops one of his own bowling.

Phehlukwayo has shown some guts with the bat, could make a decent all rounder.

Rabada

Lankans are smart. They are playing out Rabada, so they can score off all of the other mediocre bowlers.

He is one of the most exciting bowlers of current era to watch. Just love him to watch.
