ICC Men's T20 World Cup Kits Discussion

I think even the PCB hasn't a clue when their own kit is going to be released.

PCB know they messed up with the design, they’ll probably release it when everyone in Pak are sleeping

Namibia

Namibian jersey looks great.

One of the best jerseys of the tournament.

New Zealand seem to have a new kit also - not sure they are using this only for warmups or is it the real thing

I wonder if the afghani kit is taliban approved or not

Associates have killed it. Namibia, Scotland and Netherlands taking the cake.

Seems like a 5 year old kid made South African jersey drawing random lines/triangles.

Indian kit is ugly as well.

Your comment is funny because Scotland's kit design was quite literally made by a little girl who won a competition where the winner earned the right to do so.

Like our old school kit, the big numbering is nice too.

Wish they'd sell kits with players numbers and names on the back.

Love the idea from Cricket Scotland of letting a 12-year old kid design their shirt.

She's done a good job of it too - their kit is one of the best.

12 year old Rebecca a better kit designer than the qualified designers of most teams.

Namibian jersey is my favourite though. Would totally buy it.

Wow, Rebecca that is seriously good work.
What are the 12 y.o. girls doing in India South Africa and Pakistan? enuff with the Barbie dress up stuff, do your nation proud.

I remember my childhood as a 15 y.o. we got qualified to play in a state level school tournament and were very excited and very buoyed with our teamwork and bonding, we were ready to take on Don Bosco school who was like giants those days.
Then the our coach handed us our new jerseys which was grey and white in colour which was very awfully designed. It trashed our confidence. He was very sheepish about it and said it is designed by the Principals daughter who obviously wasnt as skilled as Rebecca was.

Not saying that Indian seniors will lose confidence but every small thing is important.

Scotland beating teams such as Bangladesh in the ICC T20 World Cup was never unthinkable. But what is difficult to believe is that the team's striking dark blue and purple-coloured jersey has been designed by a 12-year-old girl.

Rebecca Downie is the young designer and she has been cheering her team, which proved to be the most impressive in the first week of the tournament.

The team chose the design from over 200 entries from school children across the country. The jersey is based on the colours of Scotland's national emblem - the thistle.

Cricket Scotland took to social media to thank Rebecca for her efforts in making the jersey while posting images of her wearing the kit and supporting the team during their first match against Bangladesh.

"Scotland's kit designer. 12 year-old Rebecca Downie from Haddington. She was following our first game on TV, proudly sporting the shirt she designed herself. Thank you again Rebecca!" Cricket Scotland wrote on Twitter.

Rebecca, who comes from the town of Haddington, presented the players with their new kit before they left for Oman, the venue for the T20 showpiece alongside the UAE.

Rebecca along with her family were special guests for the match against Zimbabwe in Edinburgh where she met the players.

"I was so excited when I heard I had won the competition, I couldn't believe it. I was so happy to see the shirt in real life, it looks brilliant! It was amazing to meet the team and watch them play against Zimbabwe. I will be wearing my shirt and cheering them on in every game in the World Cup," Rebecca was quoted as saying by website 'Cricket and More'.

Scotland cricket team captain Kyle Coetzer said the team was "really proud" of the design.

"It was great to meet Rebecca and her family recently and see her wearing the new shirt. The team is really proud of the design and we are planning to go out there and do it justice with our performances in the World Cup.

"We hope that the fans will enjoy the new design and wear them proudly as they support us from back home," he said.

I like Scotland's jersey.
They have probably best ever cricket kit.
PNG's cap was awesome as well 👌👌

I got the WT20 kit, and it actually feels really comfortable. The sleeves aren’t loose and the collar folds well.

Still not happy with the design.

Did you order from the official site? Always been reluctant to order Pakistan shirts, cos they always send you the rubbish you find hung up in the street markets rather than player issue, or proper replicas

Yup, got it delivered to Bahawalpur and family sent it to UK. Much cheaper than paying from the UK store.
