ICC T20 World Cup 2022 | Netherlands v Pakistan | Group 2 | Perth | 30 October | Netherlands innings

NED unable to tackle the bounce. Can't blame them. Minnows shouldn't be playing world cups on these wickets

Weather showing rain in the next hour in Perth get the pacers on finish the game off ASAP

Looking to be a low target today, Fakhar should open and be given a chance to go and hit some quick big hits, play his natural game.

I can see him opening today but only for match practice. Expect him to drop to 3/4 against SA

There are 5 gun bowlers and there is a benefit match going on for the 6th bowler

Too much common sense, Considering how low the target will be, Our useless openers will chase it themselves in the 19th or at best with one wicket loss, and all of sudden Rusty Fakhar vs Saf hostile quicks and boom he will struggle inevitably. This lot has zero game awareness.

LOL seriously what's wrong with babar . He does seem a bit slow. Absolutely ridiculous.

Effectively 34 for 4 after the retired hurt in the powerplay.

Important Pakistan do not give it away in the second half like they usually do.

Yes but the nrr qualification scenario is very tricky. That one means India lose 2 games. As South Africa or Zimbabwe winning 2 games takes them to 7 points.

Simplistic scenario doesn't need nrr at all just need south Africa to lose today that's it.

Yes, you’re right. But still good to have a solid NRR just in case push comes to shove.

babar does have problem with properly managing his bowling resources according to match situation and the playing conditions.

Still think it should be fast bowlers bowling. What a terrible idea to have Nawaz in just to finish his overs. It will give Netherland batters time to settle down and see the ball.

Really terrible captaincy. No need to keep spinners on with plenty of pace overs remaining.

These two will hurt Pakistan bowlers if they stay longer. They are their best batsmen.

It doesn't depend on toss. Indians are ok with pace and bounce. It's the swing that gets the top order.

It does because the pitch at MCG flattens out - aim comfortable chasing anything less than 190

Babar is up there with Mo Yo as the most tactically poor Pakistan skipper.

Indian commentator defending Pakistani bowling attack against shaun pallock. shaun thinks Sa is the best bowling attack

It's as if Ned were targeting 130 before the game even started and are now reevaluating it

There is no way SA are losing back to back against India and Pakistan

You don’t know that.

If they lose to India - they will be weak and that is when Pakistan can take advantage

Fair enough but I still think Perth is not a minefield that we made it out to be against Zim

It's not. Tricky part is to not get out on cross batted shots as the side boundaries are long

My advice to Pakistani friends will be . Don't read too much from today's Pakistan's performance..They are pathetic in batting and Pakistan selectors and board need to invest in batters,if they want Pakistan to succeed...your batting may be good for asian conditions but you will never win a tournament even in Asia..these batters are mentally fragile

Cheers - we didn’t know that

Since W. Riaz left, bouncers became a rarity in Pakistan's attack. Good to see Pakistan bowling good bouncers in the Zimbabwe game and this one. Rauf/Hasnain's bouncers often flied over the keepers head for 4.

120 and Pakistan will have to bat out of their depth to get run a ball
