I think this would serve as a huge shock to them, as to how different the conditions are between Sri Lanka and India. Zimbabwe’s team is just not adept on these grounds and would have been knocked out in the first round itself had they played on these pitches.

Also, West Indies are well accustomed to these grounds in India so it was basically a match-up between the very familiar vs the unfamiliar.

Kind of unfair, but this hybrid model is throwing up interesting surprises.
