Everyone now knows that aus have issues with sluggish surfaces or spin.All lanka have to think about is such surface to make sure of their qualification either win or loose by a small margin.A sluggish surface will protect their run rate too as it won't give any chance for aus batsmen.

Pallekele is a much better batting wicket and being 500m above sea level, it's a good 6 hitting ground compared to the Colombo venues.

Ideally SL would've wanted to play ZIM in Pallekele to negate their seam bowling strength and OZ in Colombo to negate their power hitting strength.

Let's see. I don't rate this SL bowling attack especially without Hasaranga. I'm not sure they can stop Australian batsmen in Pallekele. Zimbabwe's seamer have been devastating in Colombo and that's where SL are playing ZIM. SL will have to play out of their skins

Yes, I see Sri Lanka struggling against Zimbabwe but Australia can lose to them in these conditions. Australian batters have been nigh diabolical in subcontinent conditions to be honest. The way they have disintegrated in Pakistan and now in Colombo, doesn't bode well for a team playing the hosts next.

But you can never write Australia off, so whatever does happen this group will be a lot of fun to follow going forward.
