Could be an asian only semifinal affair.

Have a bad feeling about our game. We've been throwing it away vs West Indies in big tournaments in recent times.

Champions Trophy 13. World t20 2014. World Cup 2015.

Trrrrussst. Bad vibes man, bad vibes. Plus, we're batting first, not sure it's a wise decision. Fingers crossed.

How brilliant was Zeeshan's captaincy last game? Even though the team is mediocre, the captaincy and fielding will allow us to compete with any side.

Pakistan batting first. Is this a wise decision knowing early start a and Windies having Joseph?

Right decision, the batting's pretty fragile. If Windies puts 200+ batting and Joseph gets a couple of early breakthroughs, all of a sudden that total will seem like 300 due to lack of batting depth. If Pakistan can put up 200 batting first, they'd feel pretty good defending it putting a stranglehold in the middle overs by spin and fielding.

Could fo either way, but could be a good practise as we can be asked to bat first in semis if we quality.

Hayatullah, a new player for Pakistan Under-19s, has been flown in and is playing his first game of the tournament.

Interesting this, must be good hopefully.

Been a long time since we've seen a threatening WI attack even if it's u19. Joseph+Holder looks lethal.

Pathetic start. When your captain plays this kind of gutless start on a batting track, I worry for the team....

over rated Malik.can't believe what is special in this guy that he was hyped so much

I read on some other thread a few days ago that he is an allrounder but he got out to a pretty poor shot in the last match if I remember correctly.

Maybe he is just sent to see off the new ball typical Pakistani mentality

Just see of the new ball here. Runs will come. Any score over 180 and Windies are probably out of the match.

Thank god for all the extras (plus that terrible fielding at fine leg). Else we would have half the score.

Wow, this team is the worst. We will be lucky to score 100+

Calm down, not easy out there, even our seniors would have struggled here. Early start and the ball is moving.

Remember Pakistan won the toss and put themselves in. Only England made this "mistake" also yesterday. But let us see. I am sure we will pass 200, just need to see off the new ball here.

So these are our 2 best bats out there atm... if they can't put up a partnership then game's done.

You have no idea, you need to take various circumstances under consideration before posting.

I know what i am saying, this a below average U19 team when you compare them to their predecessors

We have 1 boundary which was due to poor fielding. So basically we have 0 boundary shots in the power play (10 overs). No aggression, no attack, just defend defend defend until top order collapses.

Seem far below average....

Finally!! Some aggression!! That is the way team green!! If you going to lose, at least show some guts.

Is the new boy Hayyatullah bowler or a batsman?

anything over 140 is a winning score against the windies. let's not forget pakistan has the most skilled attack in the competition.

Nah, it's pretty mediocre. It's our fielding and captaincy that's been winning us games.

Alzarri Joseph generates very good pace for an 18/19 year old. Reminds me of Rabada's performances in the previous U-19 world Cup.

Big wicket? We are 40/4. What would have happened without the wicket, we cross 100? Pak only hope is bowlers pull a miracle (same as every game we play)

Our batsmen are so poorly coached. Compare the technique of SL and Indian batsmen to Pakistan, worlds apart.
