To be honest - no better format of WC than this. Instead of those funky super six or eight; for 2031, I would love to see 12 teams WC, each playing each others…. Or may be 16 teams with 8 teams in two groups.

We need more group games where in later stages almost every run counts in a rat race.

This format is only good because of Dutch and Afg winning some games and to top it off England totally done and dusted. Otherwise this could have been less exciting as well with 3 teams already locked up in the semis and 2 teams fighting for the last one.
