India have inferior NRR to Pakistan so if Pakistan win one match against either Nz or Aus and India lose their match against AUS ( winning against BD is given) then, Pakistan will qualify.


Note: Pakistan shouldn't lose badly and India shouldn't win too comprehensively against BD

156 is a decent total on this track. If Bangladesh spinners can capitalise and get some early wickets then the match will become interesting.
 
Bangla will win this. Shakib will spin them out. and Mustafizur will put a spell on them.

No. They are looking at Sabbir to play as Kohli and Riad as Dhoni. This guy Riad is calm under pressure.

He can't bowl, can't bat and is a bad bad fielder. Weakest Bangla player by a margin.

I do agree partially.

One of the logic I use for my judgement is to observe what intelligent Captains do against Pakistan. I have seen recently - MS, Will, Morgan even Angelo has opted to chase against PAK (more so against Afridi & WY).

This gives me a clue that, silently teams fear PAK's hitting ability more than the "Larke Lenge" bowling power or the genius that Lala carries with him while defending. Even BD would have opted to chase on that Dhaka wicket against that "fearsome 3 some".

Many geniuses these days say that on big match, chasing is tough - but, I am a bit old fashioned; once Denis Lillee said that - these idiots don't know how tough it is for the bowler to remain focused & execute plan when you are defending in a big match - I take his words more than all those one trick ponies spout garbage with mouth piece these days.

Afridi is 100 times better than Mashrafe. At least he performs once every 5 matches and against Minows, Afridi is a legend.

Mashrafe on the other hand should switch to some other career.

He is a fighter. The reason why Bangladesh has improved in leaps and bounds over the past years is because of him. The best captain in the world today. He can be in the team only for his captaincy itself. He is such an implact player for them. He has a habit of taking important wickets as well though he goes for runs. His wicket of Butler in 2015WC against England turned the match towards Bangladesh.

Mashrafe seems a better batsman than bowler now. he's just a Trundler nowadays.

Don't think Sabbir would be a suitable opener, but we need a good no. 7 right now
 
Amin is so dependent on Mashrafe to set everything for him and i think still he wouldn't bowl that line.
 
Mashrafe as captain > any other captain the world today. Not just Afridi. He has brought so much to the team.
 
Got to bowl Mustafiz, now

Mustafiz and Shakib are key bowlers and should bowl in tendem for few overs

Mushi is useless in this format doesn't have the power game neither is that great at finding gaps.
 
Mashrafe and Al Amin are like lambs for slaughter!

A boundary for Khawaja could have easily got to the fielder. Today we have had some serious case of ball going to fielders when you wouldn't expect it

He is struggling a bit - young player, lack of confidence 'll confuse him; dropping from XI 'll destroy him. Best thing to do is to drop him at 5 or 6 & keep him relaxed. He can take a free swing at 6 without much of negative consequence - in Cricket batting 1, 2 & 3 are toughest job. Only Pakistan uses novices there.
 
Mustafizur into the attack. I miss Rubel Hussain. He is talented. Rubel Hussain, Mustafizur, Taskin. Bangladesh indeed has good pace bowling attack.

I don't think you have watched him bat before, he is a no. 4 or no. 5. He can get the 4s with ease. Off form these days. Might want to wath his innings in World Cup or against Pakistan

I did see him but the thing is he is the only decent keeper you got ,can promote him rather to top order and expect him to build.
 
Pitch is slower than I thought. Aus is struggling a bit but Bangladesh needs to take wickets.

Shakib has been darting in for a while now. Tries too bowl too fast without giving a rip
 
Seems Aus is going to win. I just hope they don't chase in 15-16 overs. Hope it goes till the last over.
 
Bangladesh needs to up their game ,Taskin and Arafat's exclusions have made them weak even mentally.
