he actually records the score, similar to how an official scorer does it.
 
Its good to see Rana bowling again, after the horrendous injury he suffered last year.

Unless there are some other teams out there in this tournament who are very good, I cant see anyone other than Lahore winning it.

Agreed. Lahore is too strong a team. There is no way any team is going to remotely put up a challenge against them.

yes unless a player like Cairns, A Razzaq or Kemp can play a magical innings in the semis

yeh, semis the only chance because the final is best out of 3. Too talented too lose two games out of 3 at this rate.

I know Farhat and for that case Nazir are sloggers but twenty20 suits them perfectly. That was fantastic display of hitting by Farhat
 
Saqlain bowled an amazing backspinning slider going straight on, in his final over, striking the batsman on the toe on middle stump. Appeared to be pretty plumb however was turned down by the umpire. He seems to be slowly but steadily getting back to grips with professional cricket once again. He also bowled remarkably well against the touring Indians last summer and in Sussex's ODI campaign last season, against some top international and domestic batsmen. Maybe the PCB needs to give Saqlain a call-up if he can continue his rehabilitation process and have a successful season for Surrey this summer, inlight of Danish's recent form and a lack of other viable spinning resources.

yea, he really looks much fitter than he has been in recent times. Saw him bowling for Ireland, and looked overweight and completley unfit.

He is playing for Surry this season again, and hopefully a good year will put him in the PCB plans.

I dont think the PCB will keep this "ban ICL players" forever.
 
sami is as bad in T20 as much as he in other forms of the game..

i'd liked to see "old is gold" mushy getting a chance our next match.

Its very similar to how Australia and other teams in the world. too much of experience and talent in one team.. other teams are not even half talented and experienced as badshaws. Next time they should either reduce the number of teams or take some experienced players out of lahore and put them in other teams.

huh ?? Lahore badshah is full of axed pakistani players (with a exception of 2 or 3) whereas other teams carry old fossils with a combination of 'never stepped in an international arena' lads.

I am not discrediting Lahore's performances, but that statement of your is ridiculous.
 
ICL has taken a good step by making a Lahore team but the players are more experienced than other teams. TYhey should have kept 2-3 players for other teams though this year. I am sure some young Indians might like playing against them but that is not good for the league. They should have also added a South Pacific team (if there are not enough NZ and Aus players then combine them) but keep 5-6 players for other teams. I think we will see something more next year as some more players sign. This Lahore team is getting more interest from Paksitani fans compared to last year when the players were spread

I am sure you must be very proud of lahore badshaws performance in ICL. Congrats for winning all the matches so far in this tournament. I am sure this team is good enough to beat the current Pakistan team which is getting beaten by almost all top teams these days and getting worser and worser.

ICL Lahori's would not be able to last 5 days !! no way..

ODI easy for the Lahoris..but tests would be well difficult imo
 
Well since you are talking about test yes the team that has played for the last 6 months is pathetic ( TEST TEAM) and that test team did not include asif, akhter and afridi. Sohail tanvir is a good bowler but not for tests at the moment.

I was talking about our first 11 for the last few months. with a FIT trio of Akhter, Gul and Asif i believe we can beat any tean in the world !

No doubt Lahore Badshah is the strongest team in the tournament with some great players. Really good to see Inzi back in action. Also most of the players dont have much 20/20 experience but have really adapted well to the format. The bowlers have shown how to bowl in a 20/20.

The only matches I follow in ICL are the ones involving Lahore Badshahs and really hope they might have a second team soon in ICL.
