"Every series is important and as you know the visiting Australia T20I side is a strong one"
"Australia T20I side is always strong and we will also do our best to win good cricket"
"As you know, we also have a good team based upon our performances for the last year or so"
"We intend to play some good cricket so we can maintain our top position in T20Is"
"All the players who have come over are good players; Shaheen Shah is good, Waqas Maqsood has performed well in domestic and Imad Wasim has returned to the side too"
"Shoaib Malik will not be playing in the first game as this is a busy time for him - he will be joining the team tomorrow"
"We will be selecting the best possible XI for tomorrow and Shoaib Malik will not be available tomorrow"

"The responsibility for keeping players away from corruption is with the PCB and they discharge that correctly as we get lectures on anti-corruption issues; From my experience I can tell you that we were given lectures on this at the U19 level, Pakistan A and in Pakistan team level also"
