Shahid Afridi speaking on TV:

"I really enjoyed playing in T10 and not only I but all the players enjoyed it too; I met people on the flight on my way back who kept on discussing T10 with me"

"There is a lot of interest in T10 from the ordinary folk and this is a format meant for them"

"I wasnt expecting that the people would enjoy this format so much"

"T10 is very tough on bowlers and they will need to work on some skills for T10 in the future"

"Due to T20, OD cricket changed a lot and so I feel that due to T0, we will see changes in T20 also"

"Test cricket results do come in 4 days so I am in agreement for 4 Day Tests"

"Nowadays cricket is being played at a fast pace so its very normal to get results in 3.5 -4 days"

"I think innovation is good and such changes should be tried"

"Lets see how far PCB go with the compensation claim, whether its just press statements"

"PCB have always made the first steps towards good relations and India should do the same"

"Many MOUs have been signed and India has definitely violated them"

"If India did not come and play with us then they need to pay us and that claim is correct from PCB"

"Players who are not centrally contracted or are not in Pak team need to be able to earn money by playing in leagues"

"They should go out and play so that they can learn new things"

"Have seen a smiling pic of Saeed Ajmal today so not sure if there is any tension where he is now"

Multiple MOU's signed? This is the first I am hearing of multiple MOU's.

If India doesn’t want to play Pakistan then Pakistan needs to ignore them. Survived this far.

I think this is just getting too old now. PCB are working through this and will let everyone know if they were successful in getting the claim. Media needs to stop asking the same questions to players who are not involved.

Afridi gonna study law post retirement and gonna become lawyer. Then he will teach bcci lesson

BCCI should transfer money to Afridis bank account he might be the next Prime minister of pakistan in near future

I am ready to pay to watch Lala on field.
bcci Please tour Pakistan.

Afridi has been a one-dimensional player through out his career and now that he is retired, he should stay put. without trying to inject himself into UN-necessary controversies and pointless discussions, unless he is trying to un-retire himself again :)

Coming from a family of lawyers, I can tell you that this is more of a political stunt by the PCB. A MOU is not a legally enforceable document even if its language is identical to a contract. You can sign as many MOU's as you want but in order to litigate, you need to have a signed contract. Basically the promises or agreements in a MOU are not "legally enforceable obligations" even by a long shot. It is typically used to set expectations and define responsibilities of the parties and is followed by a more formal legally binding contract. Any half ar$# lawyer will tell you that.

I am sure PCB has a much smarter legal team on their payroll who already knows that but decided to proceed anyway for political reasons.

I don't think he or anyone of us have the necessary background to comment on the legality of this issue. Now that PCB has gambled in pursuing it with ICC/BCCI and gone all-in, we will soon know if they have a winning hand or simply lost the pot.

Trying your luck against all odds is an amazing high in itself. Mark my words, the BCCI will be down $60-70 million or will agree to future series on neutral venue which they will honor.
