What's new

If India objects to Usman Tariq’s bowling during the match, how should Pakistan respond?

I just herd the Indian Umpire Anil Chauday’s interview where he was asked about Usman’s action. He clearly said that his action is legal and that he pauses in every delivery. Moreover he said that the batsmen are so innovative these days that bowlers also needs to do something different to survive.

If Usman pauses more that he does now then there could be some issues, but as of today his action is fine.

There are two issues that i have with india media here.

First he isnt out best spinner. Our best spinner is Abrar. Usman is getting too much hype just because of the way he releases the ball.

This is so true. Pakistans best bowler right now is Abrar. Genuine wicket taker.

Indian cricket team is as professional as it can get. We hardly complain about pitches, conditions. If UT has a good day, take it on the chin and move on. Up to ICC on what to do, not our headache.

IF I was Pak, I would not play UT as this is a meaningless game in the grand scheme of things. Certainly unleash him in Super 8 against teams vulnerable to spin rather than going there with a cloud of doubt over his action since playing vs India will raise a lot of eyeballs over his action

Pakistan team alslways using unethical practices against opponents to win the game.... In fact, PCB before putting him on international level should have worked on improving his bowling delay and action

In all honesty, he shouldn't play the match on 15th.

Anticipation is always worse than the real impact so let the neighbors anticipate even more that he's a secret weapon and will only be used against them if the two teams meet in the knockouts.

This match really shouldn't have any serious impact on qualification chances of both of the teams and due to pre tournament seeding, it doesn't really matter where you end up in your pool.
I like this idea. Treat the 15th game like fun as YK would say. Go out there smash it for fun, mess with batting order, random folks opening bowling, etc. Just fool around.

Lol hahaha Indians have already started crying.
Usman tariq has already won by making these rondhu Indians cry.
Keep it up Usman tariq.
Again, being dishonest. The thread was opened by a pakistani and most Indians, including me have actually said there is no problem

Why do you guys lie so much?

Whole Indian media is crying... Fans are crying on social media and here we have people who are crying as well about his action.

Loving this bhangra from India... Peak humor

“Bowling with a side‑arm or front‑arm action does not make it illegal. What matters is that the arm remains within the 15° flexion limit from horizontal to release point, regardless of the angle of delivery. If this were not the case, bowlers like Malinga or Pathirana would not be allowed to bowl. The challenge for fans is understanding that a high‑arm action, which isn’t perfectly straight arm does not automatically mean it’s illegal.”

This actually makes sense...

So they struggle to play spin in the proper format, but are good in the junk format.. good stuff.

'Pearls of wisdom' on chucking coming from an ex player who was banned not once, but multiple times for chucking by the ICC. :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

I feel Indian batters are very good in picking any unorthodox spinners. They must be doing there homework on tariq bowling by watching closely all available videos of him

he will be getting smashed because of high bounce he creates with his height.
No Indian batsmen actually are poor spin players these days and generally get fooled by mystery or unorthodox spinners in the first few games and then they end that guys career the second time around.

Man is earning his bread with his bowling.

There is absolutely no reason to call him a chucker unless it’s proven.

He was cleared twice, thats enough. The umpires will handle everything else.
Really good to see sane posts like this instead of reading fazool posts of some padhosi trolls here.

Ashwin is high IQ player bro. He just gave Indian batters a genius idea to play psychological games with the Batta king

Object? They seem to be practising it @Devadwal @Rajdeep n other Indian posters ye kia hogya?

We know Usman Tariq is trending in India and he will continue to trend so InShaAllah after the 15th game as well.

In the event during the game or more specifically during Usman Tariq's bowling if Indian batters try to play tricks or an 8 ball like doing the chuck action like Green, pulling out of batting or complaining to the Umpire. More importantly if Umpire gives the decision in favor of India and calls for dead balls or no balls.

What Pakistan's response should be? I believe Pakistan must be ready and have all plans against the nefarious Indian plans.

Game might be meaningless, but Pakistan would badly want to beat India at any cost specially after all the humiliation they received in Asia cup, and UT is their biggest weapon at the moment.

I commend them for preparing. This is what a professional team does. Instead of pak laughing at them, we should be scouting, looking at analytics, replicating the real match conditions during practice….instead I am sure our team is busy finding best Biryani place in SL.

We are not a serious team. We believe in qudrat ka nazam instead of preparation.
