If Sarfraz Ahmed were to keep on 'raging turners' in India...

Saha is being called Superman for his catching and you are complaining?

Also his batting average of 45 over the last year (including the current Australia series) is far ahead of Sarfaraz's 12 month and lifetime average.

Sarfraz average is also 45 in the UAE.

hehe you are bringing 'lifetime avg' and batting now :p
Sarfi's lifetime avg > Saha's

Sarfi is a regular in all formats. Has played vital knocks. Some top of my head are

Asia Cup Final -- > 50. Result Pakistan won.
World Cup 2015 --> 100 against Ireland. Result Pakistan won.
World Cup 2015 --> 49 against SA. Result Pakistan won.
Recnt series in Eng --> 90 odd with 100+ sr chasing 300. Result Pak won and chased 300 after some time.
And the less said about test batting the better as Sarfi is a much better batsman.

Sarfi as a package > Saha.
Plays all three formats. Captain of 2. Will lead us to many victories and finally we will move up then the pathetic 6,7,8 rankings which we have right now.

P.S: I dont have anything against Saha. All the best to the lad. Just didnt understand the hyping of Saha to 'put down Sarfi'.

I haven't watched much of Sarfraz and have never put him down. My point was that there is a lot of criticism of Saha's wicketkeeping which I think is unfounded, and also a lot of talk about Sarfaraz being a superior batsman to Saha which is not backed by the stats.

Sarfaraz is a very good player and certainly deserving of his place in the national team. That however doesn't make Saha a bad wicketkeeper or someone with clearly inferior batting compared to Sarfaraz.

One has a Test batting average of 42.34 and the other 29.82. :danish

Perhaps you mean 'not back by stats (in the past year)' but why give such an arbitrary time-frame....
