Why isn’t this a discussion? What’s this guy doing assaulting people and then getting decked on national TV?

How can PTI or Khan allow this guy to represent them legally? He’s a loose canon. He started a fight by assaulting Afnan Wali, and Wali did well to end it by absolutely deleting him.

What is this nonsense??

Agreed but it is the responsibility of the host to not let such thing happen during his show. In case such thing happen, live transmission should be stopped straightaway.
 
Why do Pakistani men start fights with slaps?

Surely slapping (instead of boxing) should be a sport in Pakistan?

Why should i explain? If you are asking me to explain some idiotic guys attacking each other, maybe you can explain the murder and mayhem unleashed on PKS. Maybe you can explain the murder of Arshad Sharif, the torture of IRK. Or do you only awaken when you see PTI guys do it

Because you are by far the biggest supporter of the PTI and you are also the biggest donor to this party.

Remember I don't support any of the mainstream parties. I've mentioned on here numerous who I support in Pakistan so if you can't keep up that's not my problem. Anyway nice catching up with you.

It is important to condemn because I have highlighted PTI excessive, aggressive behaviour here in the past. There are people here who have always denied it or justified it. This is clear cut proof that this kind of behaviour has been stemming for a long time.

How is this insignificant?? Khan’s attorney in law would get done for assault in most countries. This is the person who is fighting Khan’s legal battles, but he himself is a violent psychopath who should be in a straight jacket.

They are all responsible for the mess we're in. The difference is IK is a con artist who's convinced millions of his supporter that he's the next messiah. He's just a fake, power hungry driven person who pretends to care about Pakistan, when he's actually part of the problem. The thing is he's always been like this. Do I need to remind you that even after winning the 92 World Cup against England he made the win all about himself during the post-match presentation.

I used to be a PTI and IK supporter like yourself but I'm no longer fooled by all the circus acts (sorry I mean Jalsa gatherings) and for what he really is. The guy even disowned his own daughter and hasn't ever expressed regret for what he did.

No! If Pakistani aren’t going to aggressively fight against fascism in Pakistan then when will they?

Nothing wrong in being aggressive, opposition is killing, kidnapping, putting people behind for no reason, looting the country while 40% + population can’t afford a single meal.

This lawyer behavior is self-condemnable but no one needs to go around start asking people to condemn it. That’s immature.

I can gaurentee you that if this done by a PMLN lawyer against a PTI member, you wouldn’t be saying that people should not be asked to condemn it!

So IK the person that brought dignity to PKs, that attempted to lock up criminals and stabilised the economy I'd the bad guy. And how dare he take credit for winning the WC and use to build a hospital to treat cancer sufferers.

Because it self-condemnable, I’ll condemn it and move on while criticizing the lawyer, not tag you or force you to condemn it, both PTI and PML- N politicians are from South Asia, this kind of behavior is common in south Asian.

So his attorney would get a fine, I will live with that. But PKs have suffered violence that has not been seen since 1971. Why haven't all the mafia been charged? When will Bajwa and Nadeem be charged with murder of Arshad Sharif, when will crooked Munir and khusra Nadeem be charged with the kidnapping and torture of the IRK and 1000s of PTI workers. Dr Yasmin is around 80, in prison with no trial and she is a cancer sufferer. Losers like you don't like facts. As you said you don't like laws or the constitution.

But it’s pathetic behaviour. The lawyer also tried to justify his actions by bringing in “Pashtun pride” as a reason for his overreaction. Creating further racist conflict into it for no absolute reason.

He was the one who started off the flared situation by going off at Nawaz Sharif…got baited in by the anchor and Afnan about the boot polishing thing and couldn’t take it when Afnan was giving it all back to him on the subject.

Then he made it personal by abusing Afnan’s family and went ahead to assault him when Afnan responded back to him. After he slapped Afnan,

Afnan made it his duty to give him a hiding that he will never ever forget!
 
And the worst thing is that what he said about the coup has turned out to be true. The cypher was also true and he was right on the economy. PK has been destroyed by the people that you dare not mention

Pak are infamous for sectarian and inter-cultural racism, no one should be surprised to see it in the news or any media.

I didn’t watch it nor I intend to watch any Pakistani news from Pakistan as it is 99.9% controlled by the establishment.

So I won’t discuss the content of the video, was just trying to figure out why someone need someone to condemn a condemnable offense.

My primary teachers were given special instructions by my parents to thrash me extra amount. Apparently, I was an extremely naughty child. :))
 
I think host should have intervened earlier to prevent these arguments long before the fight occurred.

Please don't mind, but I blame parents in such cases. If only your father walked to your school, and knocked out every one of those teachers who hit you as a kid with a KO punch on the nose, those same teachers would not have dared to do the same to other kids in the future.

I consider people who hit or bully kids subhuman, and I believe they deserve lengthy jail terms. I understand what happened to you was probably in the 70's, but the theory remains the same.

The nation has been disgraced on a global action by Sher Afzal's actions. Also in case no one knows Afnan has a black belt in Karate. But as you can see he refrained from doing anything besides self defence.

I am frankly sick of these types of incidents. Ban PTI and anyone associated with Imran Khan please.

This comment highlights an important fact, the intellectual and moral collapse of Pakistan.

Pakistan may come out of economic, democracy, judicial and political collapse but the intellectual and moral collapse will take generations.

Similarly to many well known celebrity journalists and academics condemning extrajudicial killing, kidnapping, harassments of women, torture of journalists and politician instead they were asking if this is precedented or not.

Imran Khan's lawyer comes to blows yet again, but this time with a citizen outside Supreme Court

Sher Afzal Khan Marwat, lawyer of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, came to blows yet again on Thursday. But this time with a citizen outside the gate of the Supreme Court — the second time in a month that he got into a fight.

A video showed the two scuffling with each other, while a man gave the citizen a beating and a cop and another lawyer intervened in a bid to end the fight.

Another video showed the same man beating the citizen, who was lying on the floor while Marwat was kicking him.

The cop had somehow separated them after intervention and was trying to calm down the citizen when he said an abusive word to Marwat. This was when Marwat rushed and grabbed him while the first man started beating the citizen.

Speaking about today's incident, the PTI lawyer claimed that the citizen had provoked him by hurling an abusive word.

"He abused me without any reason. I didn't know the person," Marwat said and refused to comment any further.

Last month, Marwat and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Senator Afnan Ullah Khan got involved in a brawl on a television show, when a heated debate between him and Afnan turned into a "wrestling competition".

The lawyer and senator were having a heated argument that ended up using abusive language when all of a sudden Marwat attacked the senator. At first, both pushed each other eventually resorted to slaps and started punching each other.

It was only due to the TV show crew’s intervention that both the politicians were separated.

Taking to X, Dr Afnan said that Marwat attacked him, adding that he does not believe in violence but is a “soldier of Nawaz Sharif”.

“The beating that I gave to Marwat is an important lesson for all PTI and especially Imran Khan. They will not be able to show their face to anyone and will be forced to wear big dark sunglasses,” the senator said.

While Marwat, in a post, claimed that the TV show host was "spreading misinformation" about the "unpleasant incident".

"He is spreading rumours that my opponent was a Superman. He is not telling the reality which is that Afnan Ullah ran away from the studio and took shelter in a nearby room, which I came to know after watching his programme today," Marwat said. He also added that he plans to "initiate a defamation case and criminal complaint" the senator.

PTI lawyer booked for ‘inciting public’

DERA ISMAIL KHAN: A case has been registered against Sher Afzal Khan Marwat, a member of PTI Chairman Imran Khan’s legal team, on allegations of instigating the public against state institutions through social media.

The complaint was filed by Abdul Majeed, a resident of Shorkot, and the FIR was registered at Saddar Police Station on Oct 27 (Tuesday). An official at the police station confirmed the registration of the FIR against Mr Marwat.

The charges against Mr Marwat fall under sections 120-B (punishment for criminal conspiracy) and 153-A (promoting enmity between different groups) of the Pakistan Penal Code.

Abdul Majeed, who identified himself as a “patriotic Pakistani citizen”, claimed in the complaint that members of the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf had long been orchestrating a campaign against the police and army on social media platforms.

He further alleged that Mr Marwat, a resident of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Lakki Marwat district, recently posted a video on his YouTube channel in which he tried to incite the public against state institutions to create chaos.

Mr Marwat also asked people to come out of their homes and start a movement, Mr Majeed alleged, adding this act created fear among the people, raising concerns of violence similiar to that during May 9 nationwide riots following the arrest of Imran Khan.

During a live session on X Spaces, he alleged: “In the previous government of the PTI, people became not billionaires but trillionaires [via corruption].”

Responding to a question, the PTI leader said that the narrative of keeping former prime minister Imran Khan at Adiala Jail instead of his residence in Bani Gala was not floated by him.

“Former KP chief minister Mahmood Khan earns Rs2.5 million daily from one of his mines now,” he added.

Marwat remains in the limelight due to his blunt and controversial remarks.

PTI's Marwat bars workers from raising ‘diesel' slogans amid hopes of deal with JUI-F

Amid hopes of a “political deal” with their “sworn rival” Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Sher Afzal Khan Marwat on Saturday barred his party workers from raising slogans of “diesel” in Pishin power show.

After launching personal attacks against each other for years, ice is finally melting between the JUI-F and PTI as nothing is impossible in politics.

The PTI supporters including party founder Imran Khan would mock JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman by calling him "diesel," while the religio-political party labelled Khan as “Jewish” and “Western” agent.

However, relations between the two political foes started improving swiftly after PTI and JUI-F cried foul over the alleged rigging in the February 8 general elections.

The leaders of the two parties also held "icebreaker" meeting to devise a joint strategy against the alleged rigging. However, so far they have failed to evolve a consensus on launching the joint protest movement against the government.

Addressing the joint opposition's rally in Balochistan’s Pishin today, Marwat advised the participants against raising slogans against the JUI-F chief: “Don't raise diesel slogans as talks are underway with them [JUI-F].”

Blasting the incumbent government, the PTI leader said that Khan had been behind bars for the past 8 months in “illegal” cases. A character assassination drive had been launched against the PTI founder and his wife, he added.

A day earlier, PTI leader Omar Ayub had said that a meeting of the opposition parties would discuss the inclusion of the JUI-F in the grand opposition alliance on Saturday (today).

Earlier this month, the PTI formed the opposition alliance as part of its efforts to give the incumbent government a tough time.

With the fresh public gathering in Pishin, the PTI, under the umbrella of a “grand opposition alliance”, launched its protest movement against the alleged rigging in the general elections and for “restoration of the Constitution and democracy” in the country.
