You need to calm down, spouting rubbish in every post. What West are you talking about? I have lived in Scandinavia for almost 35 years and pakistanis and indians are treated equally here. People here knows their history and what is happening there.

Illegal immigrants. They are being treated as per the law of the land. If any so called scandinivian country is so concerned about them, they can take them to their country.

Regarding Indians and Pakistanis being treated equally, well the passport rankings tell a story, so does the visa vetting rules.

Regarding the OP, well NYT's opinion editor is Basharat Peer, a separatist from J and K. So everyone knows how unbiased NYT is.

Keyword is illegal immigrants. The legal ones will face no issue. Sometimes atleast read the details before coming to a conclusion.

Right now, Imran khan and pti seems to be in damage control mode where they are bringing every other issue. And it actually benefits India because when the specifics Wil be provided, it will show how gullible Imran is who's perception is based upon media reports only.

The numbers from the Pew survey are quie stunning.

Government 79% trust India and 6% trust Pakistan.
Retired Military 82% trust India and 2% trust Pakistan.

Imran has gone into overdrive mode on this issue. Massive effort on his part to raise awareness quite frankly towards a global audience.

Overall I liked the interview, he seemed unsure a few times on how to answer the questions going by his facial expressions. However Imran seems like an honest, good man.

Skimmed through both the RT and Al Jazeera interviews. It's always nice watching his interviews because I like the way he talks.

But there were several weird moments there. In the Al Jazeera one he made no sense in response to the question on China's treatment of their Muslims. His response was he's been busy with Pakistan's Internal problems and yet, couldn't stop talking about External Kashmir right through the rest of the interview.

Also was quick to add in case China was watching, "China has been the best friend." Little later he was asked about Baldev Kumar (who seems a shady character). But his response - I don't know where he is now, last I heard he was in jail. What??

In the RT interview he states a false story, basically lies when he claims Yogi Adityanath made a comment about dead Muslim women. Yogi is an extremist rogue, but how can a PM make such an open and blatant statement, that is wrong. What's the difference between him and Modi anymore.

The most honest thing he said which might not endear him to some folks was in response to what Pakistan can do about Kashmir.
