Incompetence of the Pakistan team management during tour of England (2021)

imad, shadab, hafeez, qadir, hasnain, shaheen, hassan...

the issue is that hafeez, imad and shadab contributed 6 runs off ten balls with the bat, thus turning the xi into 7 specialist bowlers for the day. say they contributed 16 off those ten balls, we pbly would have just said unlucky on husnain, but thats what happens.

but generally yes, management is clueless, especially in t20s.

I think he was there as protection in case Pakistan won the toss.

This pitch was supposed to break up later in the game. I'm assuming they wanted Hasnain if they had to bowl in the 1st innings. Regardless, it's a pretty defensive strategy (straight out of the 90s) but that's always been Misbah's approach in cricket.

What right thing they did? Playing 6 bowlers in a t20 game? Whatever the format may be normally any team plays with 4 frontline bowlers with atleast 1 all-rounder and 1-2 part timers are utilized if needed. What they were trying to do with their 5th and 6th specialist bowler that only helped in weakening their batting lineup.

Him and a few others like him seem to think that we have no right to question the team management and team selection because Pakistan is a talentless side. It’s like saying that the coaches, regardless of who they are are actually doing the right team with the correct team combination. But it’s the players who are poor and are not good enough.

So many he needs to explain how the management are actually doing the right thing all the time, whereas the deluded and stupid Pakistan fans are wrong about their assessments of this team

Well i feel we can't get a talent straightaway like tendulkars aur akrams. They only comes once in a blue moon. The need is to groom whatever talent we have and utilize them properly. Right now there seems no intelligence and strategy about whom to select and at which positions to utilize them. Decisions are taken by some very dumb people.
