List of successful bowlers in India in last 25 years who were not spinners

1- dale steyn . High pace , swing , accuracy and stump to stump bowling was his reason for success . By far the best in last 25 years

2 - kasprowicz - tall bounce , fast in cutters , accurate and aggressive . Such bowlers do well in India esp in wickets with red soil - mumbai , bangalore , dharamshala

3 -Chris cairns , shoaib akhtar , James anderson

All three were successful individually but their team for some reason or other was not as good . Shoaib in particular bowled well but for lack of support from his fielders and batsmen not making good enough scores while bowling to the best batsmen of his generation
