From memory .... wasim's late wife huma was one, she may have worked with the team for a very brief stint in the 90s... if you look around, there must be ones who can can communicate in Urdu.
 
I'm not watching the game but you go in with 4 pacers and you have Hassan bowling from the 7th over. Poor captaincy unless I missed something.
 
Pitch it, middle and leg stump line to Navjot.
Cut off his scoring shots.

Not once but 3 times. All 3 times the batsman was nowhere in the picture. So yeah run out misses are harsh but catches need to be taken.
 
The typical pakistani thing to do, sees a left hander and goes around the wicket

Strange that he was fielding in slips then. He might have been good there, that's probably the reason for him to be in the slips.
 
This Kalra guy has ugly technique... on top of that he is so lucky :facepalm:

Arshad is clocking around 130 even after that big grunt while delivering the ball, Kamlesh would be laughing his *** off watching this.

Actually he looks good when he connects like Ganguly. But he can do that only against bad balls. Not good balls.
 
Not watching, but I guess this is a huge pressure game and Ind v Pak on top of that. Kids are bound to make mistakes. I don't blame the guy who dropped 2 catches. Not sure about Kalra. Hearing he is lucky to be batting with an ugly technique. May be he also is nervously swinging
 
Shaheen is coming to the end of his spell and India will just play him out and attack the others. Pakistan have missed a huge trick here by being tardy on the field. Now with a bowler short, they need to keep India under 300 to have a chance. The Indian pace attack is very good.

My only point of interest was shaheen and I am very excited to find him worthy of every inch of hype surrounding him.

Apart from being hugely talented he seems to have a plan for the batsmen.

Pakistan has surely found a gem here

His average speed was around 130-132 in qtr final with few odd balls crossing 135. Shaheen is the only one who generates some good pace, 136-138 average.
 
This is the generation that should have been inspired by Shoaib Akhtar
 
TBF, the reason why Pakistan is getting slated for their missed chances is because nobody has faith in the batting, otherwise India are pretty much on par on this wicket and nothing special

Every run that goes beyond 200, we know deep down the chances of chasing down diminishes rapidly

These guys fielding standard is school level. Well if they are actually under 19 that is school level literally atleast for most
 
That's enough, Shaheen's first spell is finished & I am going to sleep. this is going to be a big phainta & It will not be a shock to see a 150 runs defeat in the morning.
 
Shaw was never getting out unless it was a run out, Big wicket this for pakistan
 
Kalra is so lucky that even Shaw got out before him....

Prithvi needs to sort out his decision-making while calling for runs. All over the place.
