What's new

India [285/7] beat Hong Kong [259/8] by 26 runs in the fourth match of the 2018 Asia Cup

Babar Hayat has good batting technique, but bats slow, do not know about the others but with that wicket, it seems like its game over, hong kong should be proud, i would say go for it u really have nothing to lose.

Match is gone for HK. Their batsmen take ages to get set and start playing some shots. The RRR is just too high for them with two new batsmen at the crease.

HK just need to play full 50 overs regardless of win/loss. That will be some achievement.

Pakistan will be licking its lips in anticipation for tomorrow.

Don't get overconfident and bottle it, chaps.

Some posters were telling us that Khaleel bowls at 90mph. He is not even crossing 140 kph.

Yes, he is bowling slower today than he usually does but he still hit 140+ on a few occasions. I've seen him bowl a few 147-148 kph deliveries in domestic cricket.

So what happens if HK somehow pulls this off? Then India MUST win tomorrow to advance.

India should play their 4th 11 tomorrow too as it will be a dead rubber.

Hearing unconfirmed reports cricketjoshila is ordering the Indian navy to blockade Hong Kong in a diplomatic attempt to get them to call off their cricket team :P

Although India will win, but clearly there is no interest and complete commitment for the tournaments as it is for the test series and World Cups next year.

It is just a matter of getting some practice for younger guys.

Disgraceful behaviour if thats the case.

Carter gone... he was not doing anything with the innings. HK should just aim to cross 250.

Whatever happens, I want to congratulate Hong Kong for putting a fight for all the associate countries. :125:

India is too rich to lose to HK :(( :sree

Hayat is a decent player, and they have a tail capable of whacking a six or two.

Not over yet, all depends on Hayat though

regardless of result Hong Kong should be proud, they made India work for this win, was not a walk in the park

Yeah man as soon as you came India started winning the match. You are the actual mamoon. :sree

Jk tho :yk

There is nothing disgraceful about it as long as Indian players are asked to keep playing cricket every single month of the year. The workload becomes quite massive and it is something BCCI should learn to work on.

Cricketers are afterall cricketers only and not machines.

Fantastic shot! Bobby can definitely hit sixes. If the rest of the batsmen can compliment and also hit a six or two. Hong Kong can have a chance!

Btw, didnt England lost an ODI match to Scotland some months ago?

Kinchit Shah played well against Pak so he is no mug with the bat

Most of this team wasn’t a part of the Test team I believe?

This match will give serious advantage to Pakistan in tomorrows match. Would be an interesting match

Indian players have to wake up tomorrow and play Pakistan again lol. Phainta coming.

It's their own fault... first BCCI agreed to the itineray knowing fully well how hard it'll be to play on back to back days. Secondly Pak finished off HK in half the time, while India is taking the match to the full distance.

who will step up and be a hero for hong kong cricket, can someone do something special with 58 balls left.

*** playing two days in a row aint even hard. Associate teams often play 5 games in 8 days and they dont complain
