India [352/5] defeat Australia [316] by 36 runs in ICC Cricket World Cup 2019

Seems like no team is able to finish the innings on time. Already 10 mins over the schduled time, are Aus.

Rohit's catch would have been the best catch of the WC so far. He timed it sweetly and fielder was too close to grab it.

Pandya's drop was a dolly. Even Kamran Akmal would have taken with one eye closed :)

Dhoni's catch was also difficult but ball was traveling with slow pace, so Carrey should have taken that.

The guy literally bowled the exact same ball which he just got hit for six.

And some people wanted Pant in place of Dhoni. Dhoni is not only a batsman but also a right hand of Captain Kohli on the field and a damn good wicket keeper even when he has aged. :inti
 
Dhoni attacking from the word go is unheard of especially recently lol GOod intent today. He is one of the smartest percentage cricketer ever.
 
Dhoni should play next World T20 and retire. 2023 is too far he will be 41.
 
Scratchy, out of form, shaky Kohli is at 80 of 75!! While way after expiry date Dhoni is at 27 from 13. Are Australians that bad at bowling?
 
Slower ball is the best ball on these flat tracks. Seriously nobody could time the slower balls.

The Rohit one was a sharp one but should have been taken.Pandya's drop was a brain fade from Carrey.
The one of Dhoni i didnt watch though.
But anyways considering the fielding standards of Aussies i would expect them to grab every chance especially considering the significance of the match.

He had a very ordinary day behind the stumps last match tbh. Too many byes and almost missed a regulation stumping

Stoinis doesn't have pace to beat batsmen for pace. He has to rely on these change ups. Different bowlers. Similar balls west indians skied in the air.
 
Warner and Smith will get the ultimate redemption as they chase this down with ease.
 
Going to be very difficult to stop India in this world Cup

Can't really see then losing a game

I think dhoni interfering with kohlis captaincy has done India more harm than good. It has prevented kohli from learning on his own. If kohli was really bad he would be sacked and a better captain like sharma would have been in place. Spoon feeding has only helped dhoni be in the lime light, it has been harmful for the team

Poor bowling from Aus in the last 10 overs and Starc was really poor, he was no better than youngsters like Shaheen and Hasnaian against Eng in terms of his thinking and thats saying something considering he has played so much more cricket.
 
So cringey the way Warne sucks upto the Indians.

Excellent batting by Ind against a quality bowling attack. First time Australia ever conceded 350 in WC.

Aus will need a world record in WC to win this.

Dhoni got out due to extraordinary catch by Stoinis and Dhoni was hitting out in the 50th over. That was nothing ball otherwise.
 
our team managed to score 350, eng nearly got it.

aus have 10% of winning this but it was a good toss to win.
