What's new

India [352/5] defeat Australia [316] by 36 runs in ICC Cricket World Cup 2019

Lol the way everyone says if you dismiss the Indian top 3 it's over for India. You still have to dismiss all 3 cheaply:)). Once set they know how to score big.

You too thanks! :14:

Make sure Pakistan get into the semis by beating NZ and other teams right?!

You got it bro!...After India i would support pak...as a life long true lover of pace bowling - was and waqar are my fav....I am looking fwd to the new pak young guys- SSL and mohamad hasnain....always envy how you guys manage to produce such good young guns....Cheers :saluteM8

Some lame hindi commentry is going on in starsports stream,i mean seriously its good to have hindi commentry but why do these guys (sachin, sehwag ) only need to talk about how theyplayed in thier time, we already saw u guys played, for gods sake do some commentry on match you are supposed to do , they r literally only talking about how sachin viru did this sachin viru did that

Whenever I play dream 11 my caption never make any runs/wicket .so today I make 4 teams ,all caption from Australia ( Warner,Smith, Cummins,Starc).

None of Indian opener in my team and both starc and Cummins in .result so far positive.

They are going to miss Hazzlewood or J richardson so much in this WC. Its all too easy after Strac and Cummins

Stoinis is very hard to slog against, his slow dibbly dobbly style of bowling is hard most of the times. Zampa again is a tricky guy if you try to slog else not a threat when playing cautiously. So, it's not totally easy outside their top 2.

Dhwaan looking in decent form after being out of form. Rohit is in form after that century. Kohli is Kohli. The Indian top 3 in form just in time for Pakistan.

ICC Mode on n ow for Shikhar Dhawan -be it CT or WC the man just plays too consistenly in ICC 50 over tournament.

I will tell you how they manage that why we dont ,because basic indian diet and majority of indians have vagetarian diet and lacks protein in serious amount.i see so many local kids wanting to be fast bowlers but most are thin and lacks nutrition needed for fast bowling, even with higher population when most are not takinf enough protein its only logical why we dont have enough fast bowlers coz they cant. Its changing slowly but will take some time

Just wait and watch
CN was being smacked by Pakistani batsmen.

lol what bumrah and shami are better than any pakistani bowlers right now.

This is a brilliant start.

Need to get wickets ASAP!! Otherwise, no coming back for Aus.

I think this is going to be a very high scoring game, pitch looks like the flattest one so far in the WC, similar to the ones Pakistan played on in the bilateral series earlier.

NCN has been past it since his latest come back. He’s lost around 5 k’s and isn’t hitting the pitch as hard- not that there is much bounce on offer on this pitch.

Sometimes when I think about what happened with both of our countries lets me think of what would’ve happened to world Cricket if Waqar and Wasim were playing with Tendulkar, Dravid and Ganguly.

Or even now Kohli, Sharma and Dhoni with Amir, Shaheen and Wahab Riaz...

:)

Rohit needs to start cutting loose vs Maxwell.

This has to be difficult wicket to bat. Pitch is slow. Difficult for timing. 270 is winning total. But with indian batting 300 at any surface is not out of question.

Anything above 250 and India will win it.

Pitch is very slow and spin will play its role.

World Champs in every format...we'd nail each ICC WC....tabahi macha dengey....:)

india 44-0 after 11 overs.
if pakistan had the same start, PPs would have been out with their daggers and calling for imam ul haq to be kicked out of the team for good.

While wasin waqar with tendu, drav, gang would have been brilliant ,i dont think apart from amir anyone can actually make it, indias already got good pace attack, they only lack injury replacement. No offence to pak bowlers, wouldnt mind babar at 4 tho :-)

Am surprised Aus did'nt go for Lyon...considering he's always done well against india albeit in tests....he wold be bowling now to SD and considering SD's weak against off spin....he would be handy....

Seems like India has adopted the pakistani strategy of tuk tuking, keeping wickets in hand, get to a decent total and let the bowlers defend it.

While lyon could have been great , they see xfactor in zampa and i ha e heard so much about this from aussie commies, tho its yet to be seen.

I agree Amir, Bumrah and Shaheen/Shami with KulCha.

Oh man, finger-licking good as people say...

Zampa bowled well in India and UAE to pick crucial wickets so his spell will vital on this dry pitch but he started poorly in the first over.

Rohit and Dhawan always bats slow initially then scores at run a ball during middle overs. If they survive go bang bang at last.

India in full control now. Would be disappointing if they fail to score anything around 350.

****** still promoting Modi in stands.

Idiots of highest order.

LOL at Maxwell joking around with Rohit and Dhawan after every over.

Does he realize he's in a World Cup?

Seems to still be in IPL mode.

Very difficult to listen to Sanjay Manjrekar . . Almost like he is only there to narrate to us a Rohit Sharma story as it's written . .

Seems like a good percentage of the crowd are overseas. From various countries -Usa,india and few others mainly

Its better to see them being friendly than swear at each other and create controversy which alot of people like to see

I felt Zampa bowled exceptionally well in the series in india, he improved in zip, drift and turn from last time i saw (am not saying am a great observer...but still...:)....he was always going to be a first choice for aus...but i felt the dual spin attack would do well especially considering india's traditional weakness against good offspin ...read mo ali, saqlain, swann, murli(at times), lyon himself....i wold have picked him....

Man this Sachin is only about me me meeee.
Talk about the damm match. No one want to hear what you achieved during your school cricket days.
