India [352/5] defeat Australia [316] by 36 runs in ICC Cricket World Cup 2019

They are better players than warner who are sitting on the bench,he is the most arrogant cricketer to play this game ,never liked his attitude.

Warner should not be dropped. If he gets going he is a match winner.

You cant expect someone to be out for a year than be amazing after 2 games. 1 good knock should get him going.

IPL is always gonna be in subconscious of many players, not sure if it will effect there performance or not but one can easily see that there isnt much eye balls and bullying by Australia in recent times towards India.
 
Khawaja and Finch are the best possible opening combo for aus.
Why would you fix something which isn't even broken??
 
Australia dont need to win this match, they should keep doing the hard work and by the time the final comes around and they are lucky enough to be there then its game on.
 
Sanju Manju is the worst of em all, I can imagine him spitting at the mic while stretching on certain syllables. Add this to his usual Jibber jabber.....yuck

Shaun marsh is also there ,he is an beast cricketer here in england.They even dropped handscomb for this so called warner.

The guy failed against nz b in the unofficial warm up matches. He's failed many times.
I've been following his performances for a good amount of time. He's just not good enough anymore.

Pandya: 46 matches, Avg 29, SR 117 and 4 50s

But ofcourse Pandya is an all rounder

with bowling avg of 40 and 44 wickets in 56 matches

Shadab: 36 matches, avg of 27 with bat, 3 50s, SR 66
Avg of 27 with bowl, 49 wickets in 36 matches.

Just sharing some stats but ofcourse who can deny the star Pandya is meant to be.

This is a terrible innings from Warner but still doesnt justify Imam's tuk tuk when its unnecessary.
Atleast Warner has shown previously what he is capable of and is back after a long break.Imam can be really annoying when he is defending juicy full tosses as well without reason.

However no denying that some fans can be a bit too harsh and that needs to be controlled.

I never said Imam can play like Warner, but this is absolutely pathetic from Warner. Him getting hold out in the deep would have made more sense. Awfully pathetic

Pandya's a fighter, doesn't give up. Got smacked for 19 runs in his 3rd over. How does he respond? Only 4 runs in the next 2 overs!

I thought after the 1 year ban, Smith would find it harder to recover but it's actually Warner who's playing like Misbah.
Smith is the same Smith which is good for aus.

The problem is ever since he's come back to the side all his strike rates have been below 80:

1st Warm-Up vs WI: 12 off 24 balls @ SR: 50
2nd Warm-Up vs England: 43 off 55 balls @ SR: 78.18
1st WC game vs Afghanistan: 89 off 114 balls @ SR: 78.07
2nd WC game vs WI: 3 off 8 balls @ SR: 37.50
In this match: currently 22 off 44 balls @ SR: 50

His career SR: 96, so if we say he's batting at a SR of 80 (upper estimate) he's batting a massive 20% slower since his return. I don't know if the team can afford to play him.

I think Australia need to consider going back to opening with Khawaja because he was in fine touch before his return. Speaking of which, rather unfair to demote an opener to number 4.

Even though Aussies are far behind on the run-rate, never count them out. They have enough power hitters remaining to score at a rate of 10 rpo.

Shaun marsh deserves to be in the side ,he has been in a very very good form recently,,.Make use of this form for the sake of the team.

Australia wouldn't have selected him if he was past his best. They are warm up games unless you watched every ball its difficult to make conclusions.

If he is still batting like this in a few games time I'll jump on the bandwagon. But I am going to wait a few games before calling him finished.
