BJP's politics will only make it more dangerous.
Muslim never ever feel afraid here in india while roamimg around im streets. its same for hindus or sikhs or anyone. while women do feel afraid going out at midnight alone .Rapes happen all over the world.Even developed countries have much larger ratio of rapes as compared to india. its just like law and society of india is very convervative especially to victim. That's the difference. here victim suffers even after that horrible crime against her.
May be in pakistan women are safe they can roam around the streets midnight alone but in india it will take a long long time to reach that state.it depend on locations locality as well....
But women in india especially new generations are very much career oriented and do jobs even at night shifts especially all IT and service centres.
In India rapes are far more common then anywhere else so stop cheating yourself. How do you know Muslim's are not afraid when they are being lynched every day. It has become daily news of them being beaten up for one reason or another. Just because they are out and about does not mean they feel safe. We are not talking about career and crap like that , stop trying to divert to subject to something completely different.
how many muslims has been targeted ?????i am sure 10 times more muslims are targeted and killed in islamic countries like ahmadis etc etc in pakistan itself forget about other ismlaic countries. , if we calculate the ratio with respect to population.See we will talk about facts and figures only.

So the problem about the third world country like is many many things unlike pakistan as poverty, jobless youth , conservative society and the law and order situatuon . A girl has to go a lot after that incidence which doesnt happen in any of those countries in that list. This make it worse otherwise rape happens everywhere.

India and Srilanka features in that link, even though it's a positive sign that our societies are showing willingness to address the issue unlike other third world countries but it's not fair to compare ourselves with developed countries where they have better system in place to protect the rights of women.

This is just fake news from Times of India hoping that its sensationalist headline will receive the approval of Indians critical of their government. To wit the article says "India has displaced Pakistan on a list of countries facing terror attacks in 2016, with higher <b>fatalities</b> and <b>injuries</b> than its restive neighbour", which is a flat out lie.
This article is totally at odds to my perception of the law and order situation in different countries in South Asia, so I went looking for the actual source. You have to dig a bit but you can find the actual US State Department report at:

From the original source above you will see that number of fatalities for 2016 in India is 337 and Pakistan is 955. Lie #1 by TOI.
As for total injured, it is 636 for India and 1,729 for Pakistan. Lie #2 by TOI.
When you account for population, the fatalities and injuries are about 20 times greater for Pakistan compared to India.
Every death is a tragedy, whether Indian or Pakistani. I hope every year these attacks and casualties decrease. But lying and having a false idea of the world is just evading the issues and benefits no one.

The newspaper is Indian. Don't blame OP for your inability to hear anything bad about shining India which btw has worse poverty than sub-saharan Africa. Have a good day.
That is just another lie based on tortured statistics. The 3 most populous sub-Saharan African countries, Nigeria, Ethiopia and Congo have poverty rates of 70%, 29.6% and 63% compared to India's 21.9% (all data from CIA), so these 3 countries by themselves have more poor than all of India.

You see this "India has poverty" "India has no toilets" types, poor guys seem to be afflicted with continous heart burn.

India is shining world is saying whether Some neighbours agree or not.
There are a lot of negative things based on falsehoods that are said about India. When they are challenged with sources and actual data the critics go quiet. Only to return a week later with a fresh round of falsehoods. It feels like a waste of time engaging them as the pattern continues.

You have clearly never been to India i assume. Im an Indian muslim and spent 20+years in India. I can vouch that all these claims that Pakistani media have that Indian muslims are being unfarily treated and/or facing life risk is complete false. Im proud Indian muslim and i feel more safe in streets of Mumbai than i ever did in Houston.
As a Pakistani I couldn't care less about Indian Muslim's or how they are treated. Equally, the claims your media makes of Pakistan being like a war zone are absurd and complete garbage. I am not talking about your Muslim's but the rape epidemic in India where women are regularly targeted. For the record I have visited India out of compulsion and hated the place.

I never talked about situation in Pakistan nor i care. I only replied because you claimed Indian muslims are not safe in India which isnt true. As far as safety of women in India, yes some parts of India its a concern and i do hope authorities do something about it. However, i can only speak for Mumbai as thats where i spent my time in India, and it is pretty safe for women and other minorities.
It is not me but your media who on a daily basis tells the world of your Muslim's being lynched for eating beef and what not. This is not to say that Pakistanis "care", since you Indian's like to point out problems in Pak then we are free to do the same as well. Just because Muslims are safe in Mumbai does not mean that is the case all over your country. By and large I couldn't care less about what happens to your community at all. To me an Indian is an Indian irrespective of faith.
