What's new

India all out for 36 in the first Test against Australia (2020/21)

You never predicted India would win the series after 36 all out. You went for law of averages - meaning India wouldn't be bowled out under 50 again.

This is proven by the fact you were silent until India won the series.

The majority do not understand probability, and this is what you play on to gain XP. Playing on their ignorance. 600M+

I know it was embarrassing and hard to take, but it’s been 10 months now. Move on.

I will remember this series for the brilliant Bharat Arun strategy of ruthless off middle stump non stop bowling throughout the day with a packed leg side field. The saying you need pace and bounce to succeed in Australia is a myth. Dry up the aussie scoring avenues and run rate and watch them crumble. I am shocked that English bowlers have not studied that series and learnt anything

A few Indians too

They had to dealt with some really tough times during the first half of this year. :inti

Yes but it is how you comeback after the tough times that counts. like a boxer punching back and winning the ultimate game.
i mistook you for someone else due to inti lol
yeah that is also there.. a tough time and took a month after this win to start coming with excuses like smith out of form or Australian DNA has changed.
Well, looks like DNA of Australian is intact on bashing some teams relentlessly, be it Ashes or kicking teams out of Semi-Finals :inti

Do Ashes have a pink ball Test? It will be a level playing field as Andu will certainly play. I won't be shocked if Australia or England fold for a sub 100 total there. Let us wait and see.

There will definitely be one D/N and there might be a second now as well. Could be interesting.

Honestly speaking, hardly anyone including myself thought that India would turn things around in that series in this fashion. Everything was against their favor - 1-0 down, mentally scarred, Kohli going home, injuries etc.

.

Correct, however you predicted India to win the series before the series started.

You were right all along barring the minor 36 odd hiccup

So you agree with what I have said.

Beautiful.

Speaking of embarrassment, 152/0.

600M to 1.3B

:)

By that logic, should'nt your team be the runner up in every ICC tournament ever staged?
Should'nt your guys making the medals tally in the top 10 in every olympics, world championships , asian games/championships etc?
yes - that loss in t20 was a wonderfully well earned one by pak, you guys played magnificiently and kudos to that. But when seasoned players like Mo Hafeez say one victory in T20 albeit by 10 wickets was the highlight of his playing career, can't say he had much excitement in his playing carrer, did he? same thing mirrored by a lot of fans...anyways, congrats on ending the 'streak' .

India record Safe ....

New Zealand seemed to be heading that way today at one point

Yes india record is safe as no other team can beat australia in Australia at this moment :sarf

It was on this day...

Greatest Asian Test team of all time, greatest series win by an Asian team in history. Greatest series win in Australia by any team.

What a story.

Pink ball Test for some reason trigger collapses depending on what time you bat. Wobbled in the air, kissed the surface and moved even more. One of those days.

India's greatest test series win of all-time. A win for which you won't mind throwing even 200 T20I matches in the gutter.
