Thanks bro. Now I hope that Pakistan gets whitewashed in ODIs against New Zealand. :misbah

Oh great, you lived for 7 years. I thought you probably lived for 2 or 3 years. You have relatives in Trichy or was it a coincidence?

more like 6. Was there from late 96 to early 2003. Trichy was the best place then, not chaotic as Chennai, no "im cool look at me", less crimes and it was the second largest city in TN then.

Ranked second cleanest place in India in Swach Bharat rankings.

Apparently Pandey isn't there in T20 squad and damn i missed one match and they won :P

Seems like a good match, i stop the match. Wake up next day and replay the match from where i left of. I avoid seeing the scorecard so the game is still interesting. Today the browser messed up and when i opened, i saw the score right away. It is not often you see young talent score big runs.

Not that young a lot was expected out of him when he was the first Indian to score a century in IPL but nevertheless this is just his 4th innings and wd while chasing hope he ends up taking the golden opportunity of poor Indian middle order.

Never really had beggers apart from at places like Main Guard Gate (T-Nagar like shopping area) and temples. Mayor of the city at the time pardoned criminals if they were willing to work, so never really heard of robbery or anything like that. Very good people, you can knock anyone's door and ask for water, literally. Good environment. Probably not so glittery as Chennai though. Trichy was one of the only city to have few schools that allowed students to excel in what they wanted like sports, drama, music and etc without no uniforms, exams, tests or beating up. Obviously my school supposed to generate "best disciplined students", which meant beating up any time, at all cost, even if you didn't do it. Good old days, remember becoming 2nd in u-10 Trichy 100mrace and being rewarded a stainless steel glass(Tumler).

Darn it he is 26 lol.

He is a legend, an ATG in ODI cricket, as ODI batsman and a captain, the much celebrated and overhyped Tendulkar can't even dream of emulating the same level of success Dhoni has achieved during his tenure, no other Indian cricketer has brought so many glories to India as the great Dhoni. Tendulkar was only showoff while Dhoni is the real deal, I bet India won't produce a cricketer like him for the next 100 years. He showed today why he is still best in the business, if it were not for him, India would've lost and took nothing out of ODI series.

Typical Jealous Pakistani fan.

last over six changed everything and credit is where its due, Panday did the unthinkable

That last over six wouldve been unnecessary had he just rotated the strike better from the beginning. He played a very poor innings for a celebrated finisher

Just to be completely frank, its still early days for Rohit but I believe he'll smash Tendu's record to bits, and I also consider him a much better batsman (technically) than glorified Tendulkar.

:)))

Never seen any Indian fan saying that even though both batters belong to us . Par Pakistaniyo ko Tendulkar ke record tutne ki badee umeed hai haa.

Who is this panday bloke, never heard of him before. Could be crucial for India in the World T20

Consistent scorer in domestic cricket but never able to make it to national team due to the lack of space in our batting order. Also plays for RCB and first Indian batsman to score a century in IPL. He is good batsman but the technique is not very solid. Shuffles too much on leg side and play away from body. In these kind of flat decks he will be fine but under swinging conditions he may struggle. We have better batters in domestic cricket though. Shreyas Iyer, Karun Nair, Mayank Agarwal, Sanju Samson etc are better than Pandey in terms of talent. But Pandey always had good temperament and he showed it today with limited skills.

Boring one sided series played on dodgy wickets and marred by insane selections.

If Cricket Australia's plan is to make BBL the most popular form of the game a few more years with these kind of wickets and bowling attacks will do it

I didn't do anything.

But but but Johnson's retired and Starc's injured. This is the best you have left and its crap. Your batting is a nightmare when the ball does a bit (60 all out, 132 all out).
Everyone thought you had a huge pipeline of bowlers but it doesn't seem so.
India missed their front line bowler in Shami. They badly missed Raina.

Nice to hear and lol@100 m school times were damn fun ever for me i guess that's why the attachment to Tamil Nadu also have always heard good things about Trichy.

Middle order is the only open position and Pandey has atleast made his case so he should be given chance in T20 as well sadly not in the squad.

Sounds like someone who'd be useful in the World Cup, plus the experience playing for RCB will really help. It was a flat deck but Australia is Australia, runs scored away from home should be valued. In T20 cricket we've seen lads without much of a technique flourish, he could be pivotal in that format for India.

Johnson (retired)
Harris (retired)
Starc (injured)
Hazlewood (played game 1, rested after because he's got an important series against the Kiwis)
Pattinson (selectors didn't want to risk him in a meangless ODI series)
Cummins (injured)
Coulter-Nile (injured)
Bird (not selected for some weird reason)
Behrendorff (not selected ahead of some others because of fitness concerns at the moment)
Richardson (dropped after taking a match winning fivefer)
Faulkner (played out the series)
Hastings
(selected and did well)
McKay (no longer considered for some reason)
Paris (selected, did well in the second test and then rested)

Whole bunch of other quicks who aren't international standard but are better than Boland
Mitch Marsh
Sandhu
Tye
Steketee
Cutting
Siddle
Hilfenhaus
Bollinger
Rainbird

Boland (nobody in Australia understands this selection. He took a wicket a game (less than a wicket a game when not playing teenagers and averaged near 40 with the ball in the domestic one dayers).

Yeah our pace stocks aren't as good as was claimed but they're a lot better than what this series showed. And the selectors actions by resting Hazlewood after game 1, dropping Paris after a good performance then resting Richardson after a fivefer shows this.

Hazlewood is Ok. He is more of a container than a wicket taker in ODIs.
Starc is a beast and is the best.
The rest are just average. Cummins and Pattinson are very fragile. Pattinson is a spray gun and gives a lot of runs.
Richardson, Faulker, Mitch Marsh, Paris, Hastings are nothing special. They are just OK.

The world isn't afraid of Aussie bowling anymore.

They can't be too afraid of India then given the 4-1 performance

Then should have shown it by winning the matches not making stupid statements here. Substance over form.

He is an indian fan. Just because an indian doesn't rate Sachin or dont like his play doesn't make him a Pakistani so learn to respect others opinion.

No one dare speak ill of the "God" of cricket, no one no matter how much talented, skillful and hardworking can surpass the "one" and "only" God of cricket, that's why downplaying/criticizing/disliking Him is blasphemous and deserve punishment after all there can only be one and true Lord of cricket and that is Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar.

Typical irrational, impulsive and jingoistic tundulkar fans (yes with a small "t" because I don't consider him Holy).

:)))

Never seen any Indian fan saying that even though both batters belong to us . Par Pakistaniyo ko Tendulkar ke record tutne ki badee umeed hai haa.

You're a mistaken bigot, the only reason his selfish record (made by scoring useless selfish runs which didn't translate to wins but rather personal glories) has been intact is because his compatriots/opponents cared more about their respective team's victories than running after personal milestones.

What exactly are you trying to prove here?

That India isn't some mahaan team that never embarrasses itself. So comments like:

He's bitter and envious at the fact India's top order is rampant and much more solid than Pakistan, India may not win this but atleast won't embarrass themselves like Pakistan yesterday.

will get you nowhere.

TN was fun for me, very good people too. I remember politicians organizing Tennis ball cricket tournaments like in Chennai 6000028. The winners would get a 2Litre pepsi bottle. I hit a 32 run of 25ish something ball in a 30+ team tournament at semis, we got all out for 45ish chasing 70ish something. I was 9 then, most of the players were 14 to late 20s. I got a shawl from a politician for my losing performance. Good old days.

Good win for India. Top knock by Pandey. Australia's fielding and losing the plot in the final overs let them down. Even tho the final scoreline reads 4-1 to Oz I think India can take a lot out of this one. Decent effort. Oz wickets are fast becoming a joke tho that must be said. It's just not cricket.

Did the politician ask "bowling ah, illa fielding ah" at the toss:asif

MMHS is Australia gonna win with bonus point today? :misbah

That was for 4th ODI, still missed that; Aussies didn't win by bonus point. But, don't you think you would been happier had IND lost that by bonus point, rather than that way?
