An inevitable outcome. There is no comparison between Pakistan and India at any level anymore.
This is what happens when you neglect your grassroots.
For years we've failed to invest in coaching at school and junior age level hence why we produce such painfully limited cricketers with so many technical faults. While PCB spends so much resources on setting up glitzy events like PSL, BCCI have spent the dividends of their cricket boom in exactly the right areas such as academies and facilities, ensuring a constant supply of future international cricketers.
Hence why these Indian lads look to have a solid technical base and a calm temperament even at an early age.
Instead the only functioning academy we have is the Academy of Excuses. If we're not whining about not playing India or not having international cricket at home, we'll have idiots like Shoaib Akhtar claiming our problems are due to a lack of jazba and aggression.
Once Pakistan crossed 69 runs, I thought "thank god, at least it won't be as bad as last time for Pakistan", I was wrong.
What a completely dominating performance. Congratulations India.
This performance filled me with despair. The fact that they didnt even fight, its not even about winning or loosing. Such a onesided affair. If this is where we are heading, that's incredibly worrying.

Can't you tell from his post? I mean fair play to him he is a die hard Indian fan and feel ashmed to admit it. I don't know why?You should be so happy today, i wonder if you have bought all the Mithais of Peshawar today?
As i said before, this was only an u19 match.
Wait for Friday.
Same issues as the senior team. Mentally weak cricketers.
They don't have the skills
They don't have the skills
We will keep fending for excuses and not admit the facts because they are hurtful.
We are simply not good enough, player for player. It is pure lack of skill.

So not a single wicket take bowler? Apart from Haider, Haris, and Qasim none have any potential.
Ijaz Ahmed needs to be kicked out. The guy was never good player to begin with and how can he teach batting.

Is there anyway to become a cricket force again?
The gulf between the the two nations keep growing day by day. You'd expect Pak , a country with such a huge Cricket crazy populace to produce a few handful of young cricketers to compete with India.
There has to be something wrong at the grassroots level and it's better to identify that and take measures to counter rather than just hiding behind the lame wall of excuses like "mentally weak" and "can't handle pressure" etc.
Only mental? You sure there are no skill difference?
Pakistan is producing decent cricketers which is why we made it to the semis in the first place but we're doing it as well as India.
To be honest can you really see shaheen, naseem, hasnsin, rauf being replaced by any of these? NO

No. For a country like Pakistan , who has all the potential to be the second biggest cricketing power in the world with a massive fanbase and tremendous history , you've got to do a lot better than just producing "decent" cricketers.
The fact that they're not even in the top 5 in Test rankings (don't really care about odi ranking though) is pretty much a farce on the part of PCB and it's management.
You become numb after sometime. We have become used to losing to top teams at all time.
Our group was very easy only hurdle was Bangladesh. Then we played against Afg in Quarter. We didn't play against decent teams like Aus, WI, NZ or Eng. So can't say we were decent.
This speaks volume...

It seems like Pakistan have a mental block against India, should consult a psychiatrist.
India was a better team there are no two ways about it. If Pak would have batted a bit better the match could have been competitive. Opposition has to play differently when they are chasing 250+ than they have to when they are chasing 170 odd form the start.
Dravid’s third final as a coach in a row. You really need to doff your hat to him.
The Indian kids are talented, no doubt, but surely having Dravid in the setup has brought in this maturity and professionalism at such an early age.
Paras Mahambrey is the coach of this side.
I still can’t describe how I felt after the West Indies match in the WC.Teams like this are good to bring depression among fans. I am deeply hurt.
It happens.
Hopefully we do better next time.
now we just wait for Friday so we get some happiness from thrashing the minnows.
Tired of hoping. Want to see some results now.
Also, minnows whom? We dont even know who is going to be knocked out in the 2nd semifinal. And on a day like this when we have already been seriously humbled it is incredibly stupid to throw shade on other teams, especially since any team who has reached semis can not be taken lightly.

Can you attribute a collapse of six wickets for 20-odd runs to just lack of skill? It's not like India ripped apart our batting line-up. That run-out exemplifies the muddled thought process, enough said.Only mental? You sure there are no skill difference?
India Under 19 pacer Sushant Mishra won hearts on Tuesday during the high-octane semi-final against arch-rivals Pakistan at Potchefstroom with his kind gesture. The Indian seamer hit Pakistan top-order batsman Haider Ali in the fourth over of the match with a nasty bouncer, flush on the helmet and the batsman fell on the ground immediately.

So much rubbish from PCB every day hyping up so many players. Big talk, big plans, but at the end of the day utter rubbish when it mattered.
I think this game proves our cricketers are mentally weak, and there is a serious issue brewing up in the upcoming and existing cricketers. People here do bhangra on their failures due to lack of skill, but this issue is also a very serious one and needs to be addressed before it rips our cricket apart even more so.Couple of things:
Firstly, are the people of Aus, NZ, SA (Home team), Eng etc going to be as critical of an under 19 defeat as some of our journalists and fans are. What about talent at their grass root level and what about their skills? Obviously in player development they are ahead but is a defeat in semi finals of an U19 WC really gonna produce that much amount of self realization for other teams. I dont think so.
Also yes we have lost to arch rival India but they are a better team than most teams so there is no point being over critical of our U19 boys. India is a top side across the formats and just because of rivalry between the two teams doesnt mean everything has to be taken emotionally. Pak lost to eventual winner which was Indian and played semis even with a pretty poor team in 2018 and now lost again to probably the eventual winners.
Secondly coming to skills, yes there might be a difference but India didnt produce unplayable deliveries that Pak lost 6 wickets for 20 odd runs. They just kept on bowling good lines and deserve all the praise, it was our batting which was unable to play release shots when required. I am not sure if it was the pressure or something else as atleast 3-4 of Pakistani batsmen showed enough skill in previous matches and they just played some poor shots which is part and parcel of cricket.
