oh - you are going back in time now....LOl! seems you are out of any logical arguments...If I go back in time, I can find any number of stats and prove India > Pakistan in x events or y events.

The truth is that India has been rocking in ICC events this decade and Pakistan has been languishing far behind and that is exactly the reason you are not been able to hide your frustration.

Ask any sensible fan. ICC Events > bi laterals. Or maybe that will hold false until Pakistan ( somehow) manages to win one trophy unlikely)

India will most of the times lose away series. Their bowling has never been their strength. While their batting lives up in away conditions more often than not their bowling leaves a lot to be desired. India can actually become a true dominant force in cricket if they can consistently produce some good bowlers. Right now the only good bowler they have is Ashwin...the rest are a stop gap until someone else comes up and then fades away (like so many of their bowlers have)

Our team is mediocre in odis. They r entirely reliant on top order and filled with over the hill players in middle order like dhoni, yuvi.

I dont expect india india to win champions trophy. Semifinal is a very good achievement

I'm quoting facts - stuff that has already happened and India's W/L ratio away is at no 2. In spite of playing a rookie team for whom many of these tours where their first tours to the respective countries. Second time will be obviously better. This is parallel to the late 90s tours for Dravid, Ganguly etc who were awesome next time around. Even Younis etc did much better on their next tours away after poor records earlier.

But you said it doesnt matter what happens away from ICC tournaments. The only thing outside of those tournaments is bilateral or tri series. Why is it so bad WI haven't done well outside of ICC trophies when they have won 3 in 17 years. The second best record, maybe 3rd, I can't remember.

India have played 5 away ODI series since 2014 (excluding the Eng one) but the guy I replied to was speaking about bilaterla series in general and home and away, Ind have played 11 (once again exclusing Eng 2014). Again, why did are lying?

Ideally India should have been dominating cricket like Aussies or windies teams of the past.. But we do not live in an ideal world do we??

There are plenty of reasons for us not being dominant force, the biggest reason is we are not a sporting nation.. I won't go into details but we can never expect to dominate any team sport for long duration till the mindset of
parents change..

I think the reason india could never beat sa in sa in odis is because india was heavily over dependent on sachin. And according to sachin he thought that hansie cronje was really tough to face.

Sachin was cronje's bunny, since cronje got the better of sachin on a number of ocassions i guess( he

dismissed him like 20 times or so, plus minus 2) therefore india could never beat sa in sa in odis

India could not win an odi series iin aus in last 20 years i guess. Heck they could not even qualify for final of tri series in aus on last two occasions. It tells us how mediocre india has been in away tours


Not to mention india won an odi against aus last year i guess against an understrengh aussie side. I mean there is not way you can defend such 5star-mediocrity. in defending that they lose argument.

Last year they were defending india's loss of a test series against eng. They were giving us lame excuses ie pitch was not good, players were not in great form.

If you want to talk about pitch or player form. Then india's tour of auss in 2003 where they drew a test series was also an extremely overrated achievement since aus was playing a second string bowling attack ie
overthehill gillespie, no mcgrath or warne. lee returning from injury. And they call that an atg aussie squad when their bowling was extremely weak

To be fair, thats why the Indian side is held in a slightly better light than they should be. Performance in the CT, and World Cup.

They were lucky to get the conditions that they did in the last CT - England had prepared dry tracks for the upcoming Ashes series.

World Cup - well they were written off before the tournament started, and performed better than expected before getting hammered by Australia in the semis.

Pak have never turned up for the big events, and have inevitably lost to India.

India is one of the "best ODI sides of the planet", it is just that it finds it hard to motivate itself for JAMODIs.

In WCC 2015, India's record was 7-1, with easy victories over Pakistan by 76 runs, over SA by 130 runs and WI by 4 wickets (with 65 balls remaining).

The bowling was fantastic, with the opposition all bowled out in the 7 victories.

Maybe Kohli will change the teams attitude to JAMODIs, I don't know. May be better to scrap JAMODIs completely.
