I just don't see any other teams apart from England and India having a chance.

India and England to meet at the finals.

English are not good, when it comes to big games.

Kohli, The King of Chase to chase in his epic style, and win it for us

So, let's relax and wait for the cup to come home.

Bring it on guys. Thrash every team that comes your way.

Really wanted to write, Sarfraz is going to win the World Cup... winner of CT' 17.

But somehow it looked fake and pretentious and forced.

Nevertheless, best of luck to India against England who will steamroll anyone if they have their day.

India are the clear favourites with their top of the line spinners and best fast bowler in the world. Teams will have a hard time racking up good totals against them.

T20 worldcup 2014 Runnner up
Worldcup 2015 semi finalist
T20 worldcup 2016 semi finalist
Icc champions trophy 2017 Runner up

Surely india should win the worldcup 2019.they are unlucky to miss out on atleast one trophy. this could be the moment

India and England are the clear favorites for the world cup and I'd give India a slight edge over England for their bowling.

Have a feeling India won’t go further than the semis.

And it is because of their weak middle-order.

Only time can tell, maybe I’m right maybe I’m wrong.

Nah bro. Its just wishful thinking. Dont confuse it with gut feeling.

Given India's team and strength. Anything less than Winning the trophy should be considered a failure

None of india and England will win the world cup.
This world cup belongs to pakistan or New zeland

Kohli - king of chases
Kohli - king of bad selections
Kohli- king of bad decisions
Kohli - reason why pant not in squad
Kohli - king of good times bad times excuses

India will win. The condition is ideal for them and if the pitches are anything like what we have seen so far they will demolish every team in their path. I Don't see them dropping a single game.

India has a good chance but so do the Aussies, England as SA as well. I am not discounting New Zealand either so keep an eye on them. I am still going for South Africa at this point. India are too dependent on Kohli.

THis will be a tricky world cup. Either they will win esaily or lose easily. First 3 wickets down India could lose very badly. First 3 bat long they will trounce any opposition. Possibility of both happening high. Set yourself up for disappointment.

1 year ago I would have said we are the favourites. But this England team is clear #1 followed by us distance 2nd along with Australia in close 3rd place. Dhawan, and Dhoni cannot be trusted. If Rohit and Kohli are gone in for cheap, the game is pretty much over. Australia is peaking at the right time and England is just a monster team.

"And walk not on the earth with conceit and arrogance, verily, you can neither rend nor penetrate the earth nor can you attain a stature like the mountains in height"

Don't write Australia off. I think they will pose a tough threat for anyone. A truelly balanced and dangerous side.

comparing t20 with odi. stupidity. Kohli is the only cap to win a test series in australia. Your dhoni couldnt do that

Limited over captaincy is not that easy. In Tests you have a lot of time in your hand to come back. Dhoni is not exactly perfect. But i still think Rohit is a way way better reader of the game than Kohli

Yes, especially with the return of the three stooges. NZ are a good side too. There is a lot of talk about England and India, but there are three or four teams that have a good chance of winning.

Yes Ind or Aus will win the world cup

India is just a brilliant team
3 world class bowler ( bumrah and KulCha)
4 Class batsman ( top3 Nd Rahul)

A genius in Dhoni

Rohit is as clueless as it can get. India got lucky every time he has captained the team. First with dinesh karthik & during asia due to the stupidity of oppositions not playing spinners like jhadav well . IPL dosent matter here. Kohli won in SA , Australia & NZ in last 12 months

England wont reach finals. they will choke in semis even if its a heaven pitch to bat on. Their bowling is stupid weak even after the inclusion of Archer. Even he isnt any good

You have always been a massive bad luck for Pakistan. I would be personally happy if you dont create any threads this WC season.

An unbalanced team like India needs more luck to win than a balanced side like England or Australia.

India better hope that the Top 3 score bulk of the runs. One of the Top 3 needs to hit a big hundred every match and someone like Rahul hit a supporting 50 for India to have a chance. Not going to happen every match. Top order will fail in one of the elimination games and its game over for India.

Shankar & Jadhav - give me creeps !

Kedhar Jadhav will play for Pakistan as a specialist spinner. So far ahead is India's spin bowling department than Pakistan.

I predict a repeat of the 2016 T-20 WC, India bossing all the early games and then faltering in the semi's when it really matters, not because of playing badly but because someone in the opposition having the day of his life.

Yes because Kedhar Jadav's ODI bowling statistics of 35 average, 5.2 economy is far superior to Shadab's ODI average of 28 and 4.8 economy after very similar number of bowling innings.

As much as I would love Pakistan to lift it, it isnt going to happen.

I have also predicted an England vs India final and England to finally list a trophy and that too at home.

India have a weak middle order because they rely on Sharma, and Kohli and then Pandya and Dhoni to finish.

England have the best squad I think they have ever had in a World Cup. Their x-factor is Jofra Archer. England have never had a bowler who can bowl quick wicket to wicket different variation has speed plus accuracy. They havnt had such a bowler since Darren Gough.
england have great openers and a solid middle order, this is where they edge India and of course England have 2 amazing finishers plus their tail are handy bats too.

Its going to be a cracking final, whether England bat first or chase in the final they are well prepared on putting up big totals or chasing big totals.

Rohit has always captained with reduced recourses and he has managed decent results. If you watch India matches you will know difference between both captains beyond results too.

India Vs New Zealand
India Vs England

I don't know, India doesn't seem to have a lot of chemistry with other teams.

Such boring affairs.

As usual 'JAMODI King' Kohli will be demotivated during the less prestigious event.

Get Rohit and Kholi quickly, and this team is quite easy to beat. Rest of batsmen are just pants.

I think India will reach the final.
But if the final is Australia v India I think Australia will win.
Regardless of how great the Indian team is now, the pressure of the final is something different and if history is anything to go by, Australia will manage it better.

India gonna win eh .....funny joke hahahah but hey the next World Cup is in India you might win that one ICC will try their best to make it Happen

Big fan of Kohli...He is king of JAMODI chases but not knock out games of ICC tournaments.

Ind top 3 never learned their lessons.. Cloudy in a chase in WC game... they crumbled..

Jo India ne Pakistan ke liye khadda khoda thaa aaj khud us mein gir gaya..On purpose they played poorly against England to eliminate Pakistan/get NZ in

Sharma would have been a better choice for the captain ship.

I am sure he would have been smarter and batted at No.4 on that pitch in such kind of a knockout match (as he does with his IPL team) knowing that he is the important player in the team, which meant he would have probably played Agarwal even if it meant it was his first match! What did DK do in his last match(Hopefully!) with all his so-called experience? I am not certain about this, but I have a feeling that he can think like this! But it also depends on management! IPL owners think dynamically and precisely compared to Indian management/coach staff!

1. India will win.

2. Kohli, the King of Chase.

Media was overrating India so much man that it brainwashed me to believe they are the only contenders and weren’t even giving Kiwis a chance. Over confidence and arrogance is the result of yesterday’s match. A slap at Bhajji’s face

Prescient.

Kohli has never delivered in WC KO matches, and Dhoni should have retired a year ago.

This elimination was always on the card because of the team-selection.

You don’t take three specialist wicketkeepers along with you to the World Cup (which eventually became four).

Also what you said Kohli never delivers in WC KOs is what haunted India back yesterday.

Dhoni is finished - should retire immediately after India comes back home...

Anyways good luck for today’s match Robert!

Kohli is a huge figure because of his batting numbers that Indian think tank decided to keep Dhoni just to guide him with his captaincy skills. The truth is Sharma is a better captain and would have also meant India could have played Gill instead of Dhoni.

People at least now should understand that Dhoni's experience, ghost-captaincy, guidance could do only this much! (Is this team not capable enough to reach Semis without Dhoni?) But we could have reached the next step only by setting aside such sentiments! In this match if there were proper No.4 & No.5 batsmen in the team, we could have definitely reached the target! Dhoni's existence caused us so many problems (who cares about his guidance & sharp stumping), it blocked those 2 spots & finally wicket-keepers occupied those spots instead of regular batsmen!

I too think Rohit would have thought better about all these issues... He would have urged for proper batsmen at No.4 & No.5 (the way I see how he handles his IPL team). I don't know if he has the tendency to aggressively throw out the worn out players! If he gets to the power we can find out. India actually are losing their way more because of selection issues rather than on-field tactics (I think Kohli showed improvement in captaincy! We lost this world cup failing to chase a gettable target!)

Looks like Dhoni is going nowhere! No report/rumor anything about retirement! We will continue to see this mess...

One thing is for sure in a big match.

"Kohli, nahi hota tujhse chase".

What are you talking about? Karthik was the only backup keeper to Dhoni when the squad was first announced. Rahul is not a specialist keeper and Pant was picked later for his batting, not his keeping.

Big fan of Kohli...He is king of JAMODI chases but not knock out games of ICC tournaments.

Exactly bro.. Below are his scores in last 3 world cups:

2011: 24 in quarter finals , 9 in semi final, and then 35 in finals.

2015: 3 in quarter finals and 1 in semi final.

2019: 1 in semi final.

Any luck this time ?

Kohli is the biggest Panauti the game has ever seen....and you're betting on such a man....god save you.
I always used to think Kohli is like Ponting and he would win at least two ICC trophies....but he is ending up winning none.....I realized talent is not everything and you need some luck too to complement the talent and skill.
