Lets hear how you are planning to watch this game.

Will you be with friends? family? or watching alone - any special events planned?

With lockdown finishing tonight in Melbourne, thankfully after a long time can go out.
Will be in the Melbourne city center at a sports bar for the night with friends from all parts of sub continent.
Win or lose, have to enjoy a night out after a long long time.

Turn TV on

Wait for toss

If we win Toss, attempt a somersault across the living room.

If we lose Toss, accept defeat and turn tv off after 5 overs of Pakistan’s batting.

Watching it at home in what seems to be a never ending lockdown. Exam the very next day!

I would like a distraction free environment with my devices, and keep getting some feelers from the threads from good people on this good forum.

Its at 7AM in the morning for me on a Sunday - so will be asleep. Will record it

Will wake up with no TV, Internet, Phone etc - just watch recorded as I am watching live. If I see Pakistan 5-6 down then fast fwd kyun ki mere paas itna patience nahin hain phir

Friends are planning to rent out a projector for 24th and watch it together.
My experience of watching matches in group has mostly left me disappointed.
2003 WC final, 2014 T20 WC final, 2017 CT final.
(2011 WC final is only exception in the list).

My plan is to watch at home only on TV. 😄

Hopefully, someone doesn't end up breaking it by the end of the match due to disappointment.

Travelling from London to Manchester to watch the game with friends at a watch party! Probably the result won’t be worth it but still doing it!

Obviously India Pakistan game is so exciting. I would never have loved this game as much as I do had I not grown up watching this rivalry in the 90s.

Watching it on TV with my family, I've ensured I don't have any other plans for the day.

Working on one screen and watching the match on one screen. Plan subject to change according to my sobriety.

Will order food from outside and watch alone, most of my friends are casual sports fans and very annoying when it comes to watching live sports, peace of mind is lost.

Going to a friends place in Toronto. Wish I was back home in Pakistan though

Explaining rules and watching at same time is only fun for a while. And people be dumb.

Hosting a dawat at mine and then the big game ! Have told everyone to arrive at 2pm, as no chance I’m serving food during the game!

I will probably be so nervous my hands will trembling.

This! I can never watch games of big magnitude with anyone unless it's actually at the ground

At home, locking the wife and the pesky son out of the room, with some beer and meat fry in tow.....

I will watch at home and will be active here in PP match thread and in few other forums :)

at home, probably won't post during the match but will post after it whatever the result :)

Will watch it alone from hotstar mobile and when things get tensed will cool off by playing couple games and then check scorecard through cricbuzz and if game is in favor will watch it again :afridi..

This is my normal routine to watch any games, if I'm on mood to watch games..

Anyway I am traveling to my native Goa to watch it in tv. As I am working in banglore. I just booked bus only to watch india vs pak match. Dont trust on any other mobile site.

Watch it at home with family. And I just noticed the banner change on the home screen. Oh man.. I'm like 50% resigned to an Indian victory, 40% general nervousness, and 10% hopeful :jordan

Unfortunately I have to be at the cemetery on the 24th...

Arranging the funeral for the streak.

@ home. Will be late night where i am. Will knock the tops off a few cold ones :)
WFH monday morning - will probably be bombed out from a combo of lack of sleep and massive hangover - luckily managed to postpone a zoom vdo meeting to tuesday :)

My good m8 are coming to watch the match so it will be fun. Hope pak beat India

Dunkin Donuts coffee + Croissant sunday morning chilly mid west weather. Couldn't have asked for better day to watch the match.

Watching Man Utd-Liverpool.

I'm sorry but I've seen this movie before and know how it ends.

I have noticed this too that premier league put their el classico on the very same day as India vs Pak. It will be a great day for sports.

Man, I cant believe how you guys can watch cricket in groups. Its really annoying as everyone has an opinion and shouting on their tv screens.

I prefer to watch cricket alone

Will be watching it at home all by myself - it's possible my wife may sit next to me to get amused at what the fuss is all about (she's American - has obviously has no idea what cricket is or the importance of this rivalry). It is on here at 10 am on the East Coast.

On another note - my HR emailed me the other day and said that if I do not use up my accumulated leave I would not be able to carry it forward to next year - so I took time off from Oct 29 Friday to 14 Nov Sunday to coincide with most of the World Cup.

I have not watched cricket in a long time - so this is going to fully whet my appetite.

Cannot wait for this match to begin.

Admit it, you'll be thinking about the game the whole time :) Probably taking a look at the scorecard with a squint.

Even though it'll be Sunday, I'll be watching it in my office in Peshawar. I've invited a couple of my village cousins to come over. And no, they're not some casual fans. They're proper cricket fanatics.

Haven't watched a full cricket game in quite a while.

Cleared my schedule, got some snacks, will enjoy some good cricket regardless of who is winning.

Alone if my son's 5 & 1 will allow me to watch specially on Sundays i am not convinced. But surely follow PP.

I am in Saudi Arabia this semester so will have to watch the game in Riyadh :)

If by chance any PakPassioners from KSA are reading this and would love to meet up to watch the game I am very much down for it! I can most likely also access a private cinema where we can watch the game as well :D

Yeah, it sounds annoying. I watch alone or with my brother and father. I haven't ever watched cricket with anyone else.

I'm so happy I get to see another India-Pakistan encounter....If it's a 50-over game I know India would beat the hell out of Pakistan and it won't be so thrilling but this this time I'm so thrilled because it's a T20 game and it being an unpredictable format, anybody can win.....Pakistan have more than a fair chance to win this game....I expect the match to be very competitive and India to win in the last minute just like how it happened back in 2007 T20 WC.

I will be watching it alone. My wife and the three year old do not have any interest in cricket.

At Home..2 Pint Beer..My favourite lucky place in balcony..Full volume..Lights off..And wife lock in bedroom..Perfect..Can't wait

All friends gather together at a friend's place in Toronto. Driving up to Toronto on Saturday Night.

Last month the guy who makes the schedule for the weekend coverage for our group asked me " why every Pakistani wants a day off on October 24, is this is a religious holiday for you guys "------------- "sort of" , was my response .

Haha.
My superstition is about watching match in group vs alone and not about projector vs TV.
So TV will be safe even if India loses because I've seen a lot of Indian defeats and everytime the TV set remained unharm.

The only person who can break my TV is my two years old son, who has broken a lot of things recently including multiple phones, laptop and what not.
And he doesn't need Ind - Pak match to break things. 😄

Prolly watching it alone. Trying to keep my hopes in check for this time. :sree

Am I the only one who just can't watch these matches live?

I will be obsessively checking on internet, occasionally turning on TV for a short while until an unfortunate event happens (boundary/wicket), otherwise distracting myself throughout the duration of the game. Only when and if Pakistan is truly on top, will I turn on TV.

Can't wait for it to be over so we can resume our regular business of losing to NZ at home.

Hahah, kind of true yeah, reminds me of the days, when during an examination, one could never read the question paper, cos we were scared of what would follow.
One thing at a time:)

🙂

I watched a game between Pakistan and India with some Indian friends once. One Indian friend would not move from the doorway until the match was over due to superstition. Last couple of times he moved, a wicket fell. Well it worked and they won.

I should have thought of being stuck in the doorway first.

I am traveling now to my native more than 800 kms ,just to watch india vs pak match.Hope it's cracker of a match

This time, I will be watching from home alone expecting a good game.

Regardless of what happens on the 24th, we must be ready to enjoy the game and have fun. It is not a time to be stressed, angry, or sad. We all know one team has to win. If India wins, I would celebrate. If they lose, I would be disappointed, but I would be happy for you guys, the Pakistani fans in this forum.

To the fans: If your team loses, it is not that they are bad players and it is definitely not the end of the world. Let us appreciate our teams' hard work, their passion to entertain us. To the Pakistani fans in particular: In a way, it is a slightly unfair contest as Pakistani players' international exposure is less compared to that of their Indian counterparts. So, please don't be harsh on any player.

It is the biggest match of this year. Ind vs Aus or Ind vs Eng looks like a forced rivalry in front of Ind vs Pak rivalry. Look at the hype for this match everywhere. Even those who try hard to stay away or are against any kind of Indo-Pak sports will watch this match. :inti

Gonna watch it with the boys at one of the boys' house. He has a projector, there's gonna be a few packs of beer... Either way, we'll have fun.

If its 3pm in the UK.

I will watch the first innings with a couple of friends but then put it on record.

There is a bigger match at 4.30pm. :salah

"THE" place to watch will be one of the good Bangalore's pub, amazing finger foods on the table, great crowd & ambience and a DJ who is sure to get you going whether you win/lose.

But I will be stuck at home in a tiny grey island, but glad we will be having 2-3 families over...

Alas! I'd give an arm and leg to experience that again in Looru!

Why not, safety first, for TV. :rp

Depends for me. Manchester United vs Liverpool takes more precedent for me than India vs Pakistan. I have no hope of Pakistan winning. Manchester United vs Liverpool game could be great or awful.

I am throwing my weight behind Pakistan in this match.. I want Pakistan to win this, India has won more than enough World Cup matches vs Pakistan. It is time for a change and records are meant to be broken.

Lets go Men in GREENN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm used to seeing India beat us quite convincingly in world cup matches, so I may watch a bit or keep updated with the score. Man U vs Liverpool is also on in the afternoon so I will definitely be watching that. Worst case scenario for me tomorrow is a Pakistan and Man U loss.
