Amazing what a good over from the other end does ... great first wicket for Krezja.genghis81 said:Lets see what Krezja can do now with a new batmsen and the lunch break coming up.

Yes there was a little bit extra bounce and swing for the first 4 overs. he was not able to utilize that.Random Aussie said:You can keep him

Kreza does look a good spinner. Slowish runup, nice loop, imparts a lot of revolutions. all he needs is a doosra.moumotta said:Now its Kreza going after them.

Most importanly, ball is turning sharp with some bounce. I reckon, Harbhajan will be pretty handy here. Watch out Ponting![]()

This is Harbhajanish wicket. sharp Turn+bounce. If he fails to get Ponting out here, I say power to Ponting.Keith said:There wasa plenty of this type of talk before the series but ponting has batted well this series.
He wasn't tested on any pitch that had bounce and turn. But if he can score on this pitch, i will agree that Ponting is kind of batsman that can score on any type of pitchKeith said:There wasa plenty of this type of talk before the series but ponting has batted well this series.
It's a long way off before the Aussies bat...bones20 said:Huge responsibility on hayden in this match to survive till spinners and unsettle harbhajan. If India gets hayden quickly, it will be a problem for them.

If you look at pitch, it is already starting to tear out, so i say anything above 350 is like goldOZGOD said:Good to see Useless actually took a couple of wickets. If we can roll India for below 500 I reckon we've got half a shout.
Totally agree with the comparison with the Windies in the 80's. They were absolutely lambasted for their over rate (people were obviously pissed off for a variety of reasons) and in fact had rules changed because of their dominance.Random Aussie said:He has a Test average of 58 over more than 100 Tests.
Doesn't really matter who rates or does not rate him, the record speaks for itself.
A few comments on Cricindia about the over rate, all from Australians. Glad I am not the only one who is unhappy with it.

and now one from Krezja ... sense a bit of pressure here!!!genghis81 said:lo and behold ... a maiden from Mitch
Usually Tendulkar and Ganguly seem to have a bit of attacking instinct in them, but with 3 wickers down I think even Tendy is a bit cautious.Random Aussie said:For all Sehwag's aggression, India rarely capitalise on it.
Edit - and a maiden from Krejza, India maybe have decided attacking him not such a good idea
Random Aussie said:6 overs behind the rate already.
We are slightly in front now with 3 wickets and 2 new batsmen at the crease. And we need time to win this game so India scoring quickly is in some ways of assistance to us.
Spot on ... for every good ball there's a couple of long hops!Sheikh said:Some crap bowling getting punished. This is why the Aussies have struggled this series; they haven't been able to maintain a level of pressure over a period of time.
genghis81 said:4 byes ... Haddin might lose his spot after this test too.
Makes sense ... but I don't think it'll happen. Haddin is going to have an extended run with the keeper spot unless he gets injured.Random Aussie said:Deserves to go, has kept poorly and not made enough runs.
Prefer Ronchi thanks. We don't need another bloke who makes 25 (60) in the lower order.

Yup, it's slowly slipping away...again.Amjid Javed said:Australia need a couple more wickets here!
OZGOD said:Why can't we get Tendy out???
He's bowling at Watto speed today. I donno if its a purpose plan, but I don't see him having much success in this test match either. Where's Tait???Random Aussie said:The superstar back on to bowl after his 4 awesome overs this morning
Random Aussie said:When have we ever been able to get him out?
That's it from me for today, got soundcheck now
Goes without saying we need more wickets today...
Pretty damn slow ...Savak said:How fast is Lee bowling? I thought he was back in rhythem when he was hitting 145-148 km/hr easily in the previous test.
Btw he in an interview said his marriage is not the reason why he has been bowling poorly, he admitted he had no idea how to bowl on non supportive wickets in India.
33.2 Lee to Laxman, no run, fuller, 136.7 kmph delivery just outside off stump and Laxman shoulders arms
33.1 Lee to Laxman, no run, Lee starts off with a 135.1 - he has been pretty slow today on the radar - around mid 130s- length delivery outside off, Laxman shapes to play it on the up but doesn't connect well
