Bowlers like Irfan serve no purpose. Of course at his height he's going to produce a couple of beauties, but you need swing, seam and intelligence to take wickets with the new ball - all three things that Irfan lacks. Totally one dimensional bowler who is good for one/two wickets at best and if you are careful, he will be wicketless. Lacks the ability to defeat a batsman and force errors.

People need to get their heads out of the sand and have some perspective. They were expecting him to turn up in Australia and rattle lineups, which isn't going to happen. Maybe against minnows.

Our pace attack is rubbish and 300 will be par score against us. Afridi and Yasir are a mediocre pair as well, particularly when it comes to stemming the flow of runs.

Losing the toss was a massive blow.

There you go Mamoon.. only yesterday u were all praises about this team. Optimism just does not seem to be your cup of tea. This is one day cricket, you expect bowlers to get hammered around. Bowling is not a problem ... My worry lies in the batting.
