All set for the decider in the 3 match series. India, though start as the favourites, have some issues with the middle order. :msd
.
Being a day game, Green park in Kanpur may help the seamers a bit early on. Win the toss and field first for me as both the teams have won chasing in this series.

Shami seems to be getting quicker every game. Bowling 143-145 kph here.

Mohit Sharma has proved to be a trundler till now. Feasting on minnows is all well and good but he gotta do well against better opposition otherwise he'll only remain a CSKite.

Mohit Sharma has no swing, no pace, no bounce.. nothing. If he played the Australia series, he would have been worse than Ishant Sharma.

No grace whatsoever in Windies' batting. Big letdown after watching Aussie-India series where batting was at a different level!

Is our bowling improved or WI no were near that or suddenly pitches turn good from flat track

Kohli has dropped so many catches lately it's not funny.

Lets safely assume that he is not a slip fielder by any stretch of imagination.

Looks like our team is taking this match for granted; these fielding lapses will surely come back and bite

So that dropped catch didn't prove too costly then, Samuels snared beautifully by Ashwin.

Ashwin can bowl these beauties out of nowhere! Just needs to be more consistent..

His bowling is the raffle draw. He'll try 60 different balls throughout his entire ODI spell, and one of them is bound to be good.

Bravo Sr throws it, yet again.

People point at Sammy for being useless for WI but what about Bravo Sr? Has to be most careless cricketer in current WI setup.

Sammy is such an underrated cricketer, would be very handy for WI in the next WC.

And to think he is leading WI as well for what more than 6 months now, makes his carelessness all the more unfathomable.

Whenever I've closely observed his leadership he is always found wanting, be it his field placements, be it the bowling changes he makes at crucial junctures. His bowling is toothless at best and batting that rivals Afridi in carelessness, his fielding though is quite good from whatever I've seen of him.

What good is he then for WI? Just for his good fielding?

So Rohit fails again.

Law of averages catching up with him. In any case its better to fail here than in SA.

can be forgiven for couple of low scores has been a monster last few months.

its sad Ravi does not have the stamina for test matches one of the few bowlers in the world who can do well on most tracks

Damn you dhawan! You are not makin me miss sehwag here. :(

He is amongst wickets, yet again.

I think he is way too fat for a fast bowler.

It was all too evident from Kohli's innings of today. He was playing too much in the air, something he hardly ever does, at least early on in his innings.

It is going to be a tricky score to chase, thats for sure. Narine could pose a few problems on this pitch.

Who is this bloke commentating that has a high pitched excited voice and sounds like he's getting his nuts chopped off? Is that Sidhu?

Some of the comments do not make sense:

"Good to see that both batsmen are playing Narine cautiously. The need of the hour is to build a good partnership and not allow spinners to dominate."

I mean how does he relate the 1st statement to the 2nd.

Samuels' pathetic knock is going to cost WI this game.

Regarding Kohli's dropped catches, he's an ordinary fielder compared to the likes of Raina, Jadeja and Sharma. You can't be good at everything :hafeez

He is mostly a good outfield guy ... some people are not suitable for close in positions.

One name comes to mind is Mohammed Kaif. He was India's Jonty Rhodes at one time but absolutely hopeless in the slips. For starters he would take a short leap everytime the ball reached the batsmen which would leave him nowhere if the ball took a nick and came low to the slips.

Fielding positions also should be highly specialized.

Who is this commie. Everything he says sounds like a goddamn inspiration speech. Its so annoying

He has dropped a couple of sitters on the ropes as well.

He isn't a bad fielder but not even close to India's best fielders (Raina, Jadeja and Sharma).

He is okay but mediocre in comparison to them.

Kohli is normally a very safe fielder except for slips, has regularly dropped many catches in slips in all forms of the game. Really surprising that Indian think tank hasn't yet noticed it.
