Exactly the opposite. Shorter match will definitely benefit the Indians. Bangladesh doesn't have power hitters like Rohit, yuvi or Dhoni. That's why we still aren't that good in t20s.

But we've become really competitive in 50 overs match mostly because our player r quite good at rotating strikes.

it's apparently a 40 years old rule. Seriously needs to be looked at especially for these crunch games. Some cricket rules are shocking.

It's either that or being cancelled. Broadcasters both local and international can't allocate a whole day/night to a game on the chance that it may rain.

In England I know a fair amount of grounds also have local regulations preventing them from being used after certain times which means they must end the match by a certain time as well.

Tennis is usually played in compact tournaments where there are a lot of games going on in a single day allowing broadcasters to put a day aside to cut around between the games that are on.

They'll be local restrictions put in place by local councils, usually in grounds around highly populated areas to prevent potential unsociable behaviour late at night and to appease local residents. A match finishing after 10.30pm would be extremely unheard of here.
