India (168/6) defeat Bangladesh (127) by 41 runs to advance to the final of Asia Cup 2025

Proven minnows Lol, all are swinging the bat blindly. Saif survives only because he got dropped twice.
 
This has been a good practice game. Need to win the game tomorrow.

If they make it to final, they can hopefully deal with Abhishek and India in the final with a full team.

Remember BD rested 4 of their main players today. BD did well with a depleted side. :inti
 
8 down BD crumbling against..poor game awareness shown by most batters. Guy at the other end playing a fighting knock all they needed to do give him maximum strike

We have no business winning this today. A few good overs but pretty bad otherwise, barring the openers.
 
Only teams capable of beating India in this format at England and Australia. Even then, in these conditions, it would be very tough.
 
Another drop. Pakistan catching and fielding have been the top notch in this tournament . Probably the only area where they are better than India so far
 
Has Saif secured an IPL contract?

Fir Bangladesh and Pakistan we have dropped 5 catches yet minnow couldn't beat india. This is your team's standard .

We played back to back pathetic game yet won with ease .

Respectfully, 140-160 is Bangladesh’s aukaat in T20 against teams with good bowling line ups. While Pak might be above average in the overall scheme of things, their bowling is still very good and will be good enough for Bangladesh. If Pak bat first and get to 170-180, curtains for Bangladesh.
 
Bumrah got him finally..good lucky fighting knock by Saif.. bumrah not in his best form in his tournament. Lots of sixes were hit on his bowling which is quite rare.. probably age catching him he is 31 which is the age where fast bowlers decline starts but he is genius and good enough to play another 3-5 years
 
India has won the last 3 games vs Oman, Pak and Bangla on autopilot mode lol. Hope it doesn’t come to bite us in the final. Only the first game we looked like the bulldozing team we were supposed to be.

These conditions are slower. Ball sits up for batsmen. Makes a lot of batsmen look better than they are

India have been very poor in the tournament. Just that the other teams are not good enough to exploit it. I wouldn't be surprised if India goes to final and goes kaput. Batting very poor, except Abhishek, no on gives any confidence. Bumrah seems to be out of form, others seems to be just going through the motion, awful fielding etc. Honestly this is embarrassing. got to get rid of Surya, Tilak and may be even Samson if we are not playing him in the top order.

India batting is very good , but bowling is accurate Indian bowlers are masters of choking opposition in middle overs.

To beat India , you have to execute your plans properly , you need to be able to play Indian bowlers with precision

apart from openers rest of batters played very poor. India should have scored over 200 as we were 112/2 in 11 overs.

Catching is club level. At no point india were losing this match but we played very pathetic cricket in back to back games.

Poor fielding but got away with the win.

Middle order batting and fielding needs to improve. Looks like ind vs pak finals on cards now

If India plays with full capacity, not sure it will be that easy.

But dropping catches is unforced errors. That shouldn't happen. If that happens against Australia, England, NZ they will punish us very badly.

Wicket gets difficult to bat on in the later part of the inning.. so i think India posted a very good total here.. its more than a par score

They not cashing in because for India someone suddenly performs , its like a team , not dependant on individuals.

These grounds are notorious for having a "ring of fire" where fielders lose sight of balls which go high.

But slotting players randomly in the batting order every match breaks the rhythm in the long run. ROle clarity will be muddled

India may set the record for maximum number of drop catches in the tournament. Does anyone have any data on this stat?

I think they are already at 10 dropped catches in this Asia cup.
