In a way im glad we aren't playing v india today. I would have paid premium fees to be there just to see alot of rain.

Very likely that the game will resume tomorrow. Rain isn't going to stop this evening. Does the DLS method continue tomorrow?

:135: then let it rain then let it rain then let it rain then let it rain then let it rain

It has almost stopped, the only time rain has ever not broken our rhythm is 2013 CT, been a disaster every other time.

A 10 over Boult is worse than 4 over Boult. NZ bowling is alright and it's wet conditions. Difficult to grip the ball.

10overs in not a problem when you can see him off ,but in t20 seeing him off will take RRR really high.
Yes ball will get wet but it also happened in first innings as well.

Though india should still chase it easily whatever the scenario

No NZ will start again from 211.

If the rain stops NZ will win, chasing 148 will be tough. If it doesn't stop tommorow could mean anything as the rain will still be around/

Chasing 148 in 20 will not be easy specially on a sluggish pitch and wet outfield. Guys like Lockie and Boult will be a handful.

Apparently if the rain doesn't stop by5 30 local time, it will be deferred to tomorrow

It will be a T20 game. India won't rely on Rohit to score a hundred to chase 150. They bat until BK and batsmen just need to chip in. If it's 250, then they need Rohit or Kohli to score big

Cricket the only sport in which a semi is effected to this degree by rain

148 in 20 means a RRR of 7.5 from the get go which is not going to be easy. You need to lose this fake overconfidence.

You need to understand the difference between Indian batting and Pakistani batting. U also need to watch IPl games where some of the pitches are even worse. This is a gun batting lineup as long as they don't have to chase above 300

Clouds are still around so can rain again but for now its stopped

I've been told there is still rain in some parts of Manchester so it's a typical English wet day where it will rain, slow down and rain again.

Get ready for tommorow now.

According to cricinfo, the rain is back.

And people wonder why cricket is a dying sport.

Its dont dying because of rain ,rather because humans are getting used to have everything fast and games pace doesnt match with the mindset of young ones

Rain is back, looks like no game today.

Does anybody know if tomorrow the game resumes at 46.1 or will it be as per D/L

A quick fire 20 from Pant helps when chasing 150 rather than 250. Same with Pandya, Dhoni, DK. Even Jaddu and BK can chip in. This is if all three top batsmen fail. 150 is no big deal

I sincerely hope both the days of England/Australia game is washed out lol England will get knocked out.

Lol at IPL games. Chasing 148 against New Zealand won't be easy. Check India's record against New Zealand in T20's first. :inti

Looks like India is going to final. Even if game happens, NZ doesn't have enough runs on the board. They would ideally need 300.

People should just relax. This is the best batting lineup India had in the entire WC.

Imagine Pakistan was in this position.

And the match gets washed out and India advance...

Imagine the hue and cry...

Dhoni,dk are masters of chase if target is around 230-250

Lol who are you expecting to score at 9 am over from this point on. Kiwis don’t really have hitters anyway.

Besides if they score at that rate for remaining overs that means the conditions aren’t actually as bad as the Williamson-Taylor duo made it seem and India will win by a canter.

Games likely done and dusted. Better see the writing in the wall. I know it must be disappointing for most Pakistani fans here

130/17 = 7.64

At least do the maths first :inti

why can't they continue the match after 10 PM today ? there is no rain after 10 PM

Some people need to quit whining, India got this, too easy of a chase.
NZ bottled it, pathetic semi final.

The final on Sunday will be dry. England to lift the cup in the London sun with style.

If any Indian fans want to give me their ticket, I will happily help them out.

Kinda poetic justice if NZ does not go to the finals due to the rains, ain’t it?

We cant be sure about anything unless we have watched the other side bat.

True but the difference in quality is evident. Pitch wasn't a mine field either. Clever changes of pace and an unplayable Bumrah did it to NZ. They were just not good enough as we,be seen in the last 3 games.

True that, but as they say about going down fighting...

They will atleast try thier chances

NZ seemed overwhelmed. I still think their best chance would have been unleashing Boult after winning the toss.

Yes they have definitely been on a downslide but you have to admit that it must be heartbreaking to be knocked out like this if it indeed happens.

I wish the other semi final gets rained out in totality, and England is knocked out without a playing a ball.

For them, yes. But probably they deserve it because they wouldn’t have qualified if not for the rain point they got against India.

I'm sort of glad rain has ruined the semi final, it ruined the group stages and most people forgot because we got 1 or 2 good games during the dryer period. This tournament should have a legacy as a failure.

The forecast on UK met office website is clear for tomorrow. So, we'd have a full game presumably.

We booked a screen and a lot of snacks for today’s match. A lot of money wasted. Lol

Inspection underway.

So there is no rain anymore ??????

But there is

Lighting Boult! :akthar

Lets hope for a quick match, India all out for 70 and we move on .

LMAO WHAT!???! THE RAIN STOPPED. INSTANT KARMA FOR INDIA HAHAHA. The rain JUST stopped before the cutoff time. NZ attack to tear appart India with the wet and cloudy conditions just like the warm up.

If the match gets started from here, it's going to be pretty unfair for India. I won't be surprised if they can't chase down the total in 20 overs.

Rain has stopped it seems and the covers are coming off.

Could we still have a 20 overs game?

:yk

INSTANT KARMA HAHAHAHAHA. Look at the bright side, at least the tv companies will get richer from all the Indians smashing their tv`s. HAHAHA

Lol at you. How many games did India lose chasing 148? Get on with it oldie, T20 is not your cup of tea.

Still remember a match against NZ, where we couldn't chase 120 odd, even with king of chase Kohli.
