India suffering by picking these defensive bowlers who rarely pick wickets.
 
So this was the economic bowling that India were missing out on by playing the 2 leggies.
 
Meanwhile Ravi Shastri looks like he's not refused too many 2nd helpings of vada pao, poona misal or pitla baath ....or even yorkshire pudding and warwick sauce in recent times....:)

It was pathetic move to pick defensive bowlers like BK and Jadeja over wicket takers like Shami & Kuldeep.
 
Should have picked Shami, he would be wreaking havoc right now.
 
The difference between a professional side and unprofessional team. NZ survive a difficult period and Pakistan collapsed like a pack of cards against West Indies. That's why NZ are in the semis and Pakistan aren't. You can complain as much as you want about who deserves it. But NZ professionalism and game awareness is much better than ours.

Shami is a dud in the last 10. Lost India the Eng game. Kuldeep has been bowling tripe. He's out of form and has been traveling for 6+ rpo.

Williamson is the only regular in the IPL out of this NZ team. The other members in today's 11 don't start regularly or are not selected.

Do research before looking for conspiracies.

Nichols batting well. Nz need a 3rd batsmen
They cant win with only 2 batsmen (Kane and Taylor)

Should’ve gone for Kuldeep. I don’t expect Jadeja to pick up wickets in the middle phase. India makes these small yet silly mistakes once in a while.

shami would have at least take the wickets instead of bhuvi economy kumar

Good recovery so far by NZ. I seriously thought it will be all over the way the opening bowlers were bowling.

No IPL team will select Taylor , Latham, and Nichols no matter how hard they try for a IPL contract btw.

lol, I never meant he'd blast Kiwis in first 40 overs. I meant going by his death bowling skills, Kohli may not have bowled him in slog overs.

As for Kuldeep, I'm just amazed how can someone with an iota of cricketing knowledge support dropping him for a darter!

Williamson game awareness is brilliant. No wonder he is such a good captain . Meanwhile best captain since IK cant even get through a press conference without embarrassing himself.

Shami would have picked 2-3 wickets by now, lot good this keep bowlers for last 10 will do us if we don't pick wickets at start. Kuldeep has given away 6+ runs only 2 of the 7 games he has played.

We have gone back to the CT model of defensive bowlers who stop runs, that worked out splendidly as we all remember.
 
Not very noisy from the crowd . Indian fans need to inspire their team , looking easy out there now

I can't imagine. If Shami isn't bowling at the death, who else will? Pandya? They will cream him. Kohli has no choice. Shami's terrible death bowling outweighed his excellent new ball bowling unfortunately.
 
What a pathetic team. Karthik? With that legendary average of a 30 and a terrifying strike rate of 73? Jadeja and Bhuvi instead of Kuldeep and Shami?

Kuldeep has the worst stats of all the Indian bowlers this WC. He's cooked. I wonder if he will come out of this rut. Seems someone that rattles easy. Shami is just bad, very bad, very very bad at death. I mean 45 runs in 3 overs while Bumrah gave away 12 runs. That bad
 
Stadium is only 3/4 full looks like.....it will be nosily like hell by the middle of the innings..

An iota of knowledge should tell you that Kuldeepnis out of confidence, isn't bowling well, isn't picking wickets and giving away a lot of runs. If you watched a bit of cricket, you'd know that if he doesn't pick wickets, he doesn't have a utility int his team as he doesn't bat, can't field. But again, u need to follow the game to understand these

Virat gone for rcb type bowling lineup haha.😅leaving attacking bowlers like Kuldeep and Shami who have been getting wickets for him for last 1 year in odis for safety of bhuvi and jadeja.. Very attacking captain. We can still win but not impressed 🙄
 
I would have picked Shami instead of the 2nd spinner but Indians are spooked about their middle order batting and wanted a batting cushion.

He bowled his best ball of his career a few weeks ago here against Pakistan. His confidence would have returned quickly back in Manchester
