No the batting line up is fine. The problem is that today they tried to set a big target which the pitch is not allowing. Their problem has been inability to read the pitch and set an appropriate target. Aiming too high and failing. 250 was perfect here.

That was a simple googly of a left-arm Chinaman bowler, and that was absolute pathetic spin play - clue less. He tried to flick that ball and missed it by 6 inches at least, indicates he had absolutely no clue of which way ball was going to turn. This was a big problem for English batsmen against Warne & Qadir, even Shiva for a short period, hence everything they did was sweep. Here a well set Babar failed to read the ball and kept all his guards loose - if you notice carefully, he could have been stumped as well, and if he was lucky to touch that ball, only could have scooped a dolly at short 3rd man or point.

Pathetic spin play and he is on way to be one of modern greats - that sums up the quality of spin play in this modern era - playing walking shot to a leggi and completely missing to identify the turn after 15 overs of batting. Good ball indeed as it hit the sticks after turn, absolute spot on in terms of line & length & amount of turn, and it drifted a little. But, a No. 3 should be able to survive us ball, at least not get exposed like this.
