Indian-American governor claims all Muslim "No-go zones" exist in Europe

I see Bobbyji uses the good ol' Fair n Lovely... ole habit die hard ;-)

You can take the Indian out of India but not India out of the Indian

Bobby is thinking of running for President - this should be fun. He's probably positioning himself to the right of the other right wing candidates.

Washington (CNN)Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal will announce Monday that he is taking a major step toward seeking the Republican presidential nomination by establishing a committee to formally explore a White House bid, CNN has learned.

The creation of an exploratory committee will allow Jindal to raise money to pay for activities such as political travel as he considers whether to join a crowded GOP presidential primary field. Jindal's campaign is expected to officially announce the creation of the committee early Monday afternoon, but has already launched a website promoting the Louisiana governor's possible candidacy.

"If I run, my candidacy will be based on the idea that the American people are ready to try a dramatically different direction," Jindal says in a forthcoming news release provided to CNN. "Not a course correction, but a dramatically different path."

Jindal, who is polling in the low single digits, says he will make a final decision about whether to run after Louisiana's legislative session ends June 11.

That would be a big milestone for the Indian-American community.

He doesn't consider himself Indian and probably hates his roots and is a pretty bad governor as well but then who isn't.

Seems like you can look into his head.

and is a pretty bad governor as well but then who isn't.

This is Louisiana that we are talking about. He is not under indictment or in jail, so he is way above average.

lol seems like Bobby has some Michael Jackson esq self identity issues. Even the official portrait looks nothing like him.

If you trust Buzfeed, you probably also believe that the things in the Trump dossier are true.

A constituent drew a picture, he hung it up in his office. That doesn't make it an "official photo" in any sense. There may be two dozen more pictures in his office.

What a dude  , saw the campaign ads of him firing rifles and hunting , to please the rednecks, during his aborted campaign.

Will convert to Christianity and take up an American first name like "Bobby", still won't get rid of his Upper caste hindu Surname , best of both worlds ! ! Story of every Savarna christian convert in India.

Yeah, that's the same thing. People in India will hold on to their privileges even if they switch religions.

Those muslims you mentioned were descendant from hindu communities that might've been converted during the mongol/persian invasions or during the mughal rule period. But the newer generation of christian converts (post independence converts ) especially in the north and centre of India, would've converted because they clearly "renounced" hinduism and wanted no part with it , but they still don't seem to renounce the Hindu caste system and its structure.

The same is true of Pakistanis it seems. Most of them still hold onto their caste names, or at least the ones who feel they have something that gives them some extra status. Although how much that status holds up once they have moved out of the subcontinent must be debatable.
