Indian baseball squad to arrive in Lahore today

The Indian baseball team is set to arrive here on Wednesday to participate in the 15th West Asia Baseball Cup after it was finally granted a visa by the Pakistani authorities late on Tuesday night.

Only two days before the tournament begins, the 20-member Indian team will enter Pakistan by passing the Wagah Border, according to Syed Fakhar Ali Shah, president of the Pakistan Federation of Baseball.

I truly hope if baseball picks up in the subcontinent.

Once you get the hang of it, you will feel that it's a lot better than T20 cricket.

Runs are hard to come by, and there is A LOT of uncertainty behind every pitch (ball) that keeps the fans on the edge of their seats.

You won't need to change and bend any rules (like they did in cricket) to make the game "more exciting".

Baseball is played for decades in USA with no major change in any rule, yet it remains as of one of most favorite/watched national sports with a huge fan following.
