Did Indian not do their research beforehand. Oxford is a big name, they were ready for the event only to run at the last minute, these excuses you are making doesn't explain why esteemed personalities on the Indian side agreed before being blocked,censored and forbidden to travel by the oppressive BJP junta.

I think people are starting to have issues with Indians for 2 reasons:

Reason #1: They are always "me me me me me" wherever they go. They have to make everything about themselves.
Reason #2: A large percentage of them are extremely petty/obnoxious/unethical. It also doesn't help when they are big in numbers.

China is 4-5 times more successful than India. But, we don't see Chinese people behaving like this. Maybe Indians can learn from the Chinese on how to conduct themselves. :inti

That's pretty shocking to see the Pak embassy UK just flat out lie about what happened. I guess I naively expected some level of integrity from them, being diplomats and all.

That guy has email receipts.
Indian initial contingent was not available and India provided an alternate team..Pak withdrew. This is not an official debate ...it's just an unofficial debate...it's strange that Pak high commission is tweeting and that too easily debunked falsehood

Imagine a random xyz calling a 200 year old college union as dishonest with no integrity. Instead of trampling the attacker with proof , union went in to hibernation. Worst of all ,the attacker gave 1 day (sufficient time ) to prove that they are not dubious. But no comment from union and twitter added context that union president is a cheater.As per stats, there is a 25% reduction in Oxford Union members.

I get that the Pakistani High Commission can be lying. However, why would the Oxford Union lie as well, as per the claim made. He said that they have posted about it, so I want to see the posts.

But where are the tweets from the Union saying Indian representatives withdrew and Pakistan won the debate as result. That was the claim made against the Union. I don’t know what happened behind the scenes but the Union even apologised as per the Indian person making the claim, so then why say that the union is lying.

Forget integrity .... I would settle for them to be not indulging in monkey business like claiming Sai did not turn up when is right there in London and has email receipts and call logs to back up his claims.

I only know about the pak high commission s tweet and said Deepak tweet and statements ...not aware of Oxford Union...also don't know about the past but right now Oxford Union administration is more Lahore Union than Oxford.

I am not following this ..as it's much ado about nothing...so can't say who said who ..all I know is Pak hc tweeted false things and Deepak has emails showing what happened was India changed its delegation and Pak refused to participate after that. I think Oxford tweeted that they regret the debate didn't happen but I could be wrong.

As per the above video, union president Moosa claimed pak won by 2/3 majority with his introduction /proposed points in a student debate( not sure who are the participants and has it really happened) .so union may have simply tweeted pak won in debate in a half truth manner .


He completely ignored to explain why he has called deepak at 5pm . A pak journalist claimed pak won the discussion due to India's walk out (2 hours before the moosa's call to deepak).
