Indian Premier League | Day 35 | Bangalore | May 14, 2016 | Match thread

Yes but even apart that it looks dull.

Way too much t20s for the last month.

Its like being asked to eat 1000 gulab jamuns in one week.

By the end of the week, sweetness makes you sick.

Exactly. This year's ipl has been going on for far too long.

BPL, PSL, ASIA CUP, WORLD T20 and now IPL

I m getting sick of this format.

What's the highest runs a side has won a game by in any t20s? RCB might win by 150+ runs here

Suddenly RCB bowling looking threatening :))
I hope they won't sleep for next matches and miss out playoffs again. But this win against one of the table toppers is going to boost the confidence. Yes RCB have also had some bad luck going their way and Gujarat actually had some good luck going their way!

ipl might be the dullest of all t20 leagues tbh, it just goes on too damn long.

Unreal innings from ab. A shame he can't do this against quality bowling and in big games but still a magnificent player who is slightly ovverated but when in full flow he's fun to watch

Although ABD has been a flop for the most part in T20Is, in 50 over WCs (which I place way higher than T20Is/WCs in terms of importance) he averages 63.52 at a strike rate of 117.29. Although he's only played 4 knockouts 2 QFs and 2 SFs, he averages over 50 in KOs as well at a good SR.

Why was Gayle's bowling not used in previous matches? With the poor bowling anyhow he would not have made any difference. But at least if he had clicked as bowler it would have given confidence to himself and the team, and it would have helped his batting also (Then it would have even made sense to play in the middle order so that he is effectively utilized). Also for 2 to 4 overs his fielding burden is reduced.

Aaron went for runs even in this match. I think he should be scraped for rest of the matches and permanently omitted from all playing teams. RCB should try some others in the bench.

Very good to know a shame that he hasn't dragged them over the line

Just goes to show how good Rahane has been for his Pune. Whenever he has failed, the team couldn't put any respectable score on the board. But some of the Pune fans are always after him as if he was the reason for Pune not being able to win many matches. This is madness. Just had a look at the scoreboard, Dhoni 8(22)? Is he high?

Three overs of Powerplay, and four bowlers can bowl two overs each.

Kolkata should win this easily :)

RCB high on NRR among all teams should give them some edge (unless they don't lose 2 matches). But still they should look to win all the matches. Today's matches are also very critical.

I thought yesterday match scrapped. Happy to see KKR wins it and Pathan performance. His stat before yesterday match, Average 110+ and SR 160+ this season.
