When: Saturday, October 31 at 15:30 IST

Where: Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai

What to expect: All the day games in Dubai this season have been won by the teams chasing. But in the most recent one, Kohli felt that the scoreline didn't represent the true nature of the pitch. With tired pitches, can chasing still continue to be the most viable option? Expect another captain who'd much prefer to lose the toss than win it.

Squads:

Mumbai Indians Squad: Quinton de Kock(w), Ishan Kishan, Suryakumar Yadav, Saurabh Tiwary, Krunal Pandya, Hardik Pandya, Kieron Pollard(c), James Pattinson, Rahul Chahar, Trent Boult, Jasprit Bumrah, Dhawal Kulkarni, Aditya Tare, Rohit Sharma, Mitchell McClenaghan, Chris Lynn, Nathan Coulter-Nile, Jayant Yadav, Anmolpreet Singh, Anukul Roy, Mohsin Khan, Sherfane Rutherford, Digvijay Deshmukh, Prince Balwant Rai

Delhi Capitals Squad: Ajinkya Rahane, Shikhar Dhawan, Shreyas Iyer(c), Rishabh Pant(w), Shimron Hetmyer, Marcus Stoinis, Axar Patel, Kagiso Rabada, Ravichandran Ashwin, Tushar Deshpande, Anrich Nortje, Harshal Patel, Mohit Sharma, Alex Carey, Avesh Khan, Praveen Dubey, Sandeep Lamichhane, Keemo Paul, Prithvi Shaw, Daniel Sams, Lalit Yadav

Mumbai Indians have won the toss and have opted to field

Teams:

Delhi Capitals (Playing XI): Prithvi Shaw, Shikhar Dhawan, Shreyas Iyer(c), Rishabh Pant(w), Shimron Hetmyer, Marcus Stoinis, Harshal Patel, Praveen Dubey, Kagiso Rabada, Ravichandran Ashwin, Anrich Nortje

Mumbai Indians (Playing XI): Quinton de Kock(w), Ishan Kishan, Suryakumar Yadav, Saurabh Tiwary, Krunal Pandya, Kieron Pollard(c), Rahul Chahar, Nathan Coulter-Nile, Jayant Yadav, Trent Boult, Jasprit Bumrah

Shikhar Dhawan's wicket is like winning half the batting battle of DC... Negating Rabada is like winning 3/4th the bowling battle!

DC has regressed and teams probably saw where they can tackle them! RCB & other teams should eye on that No.2 spot in the table!

DC have lost all the momentum in the last few games. Need to try and make some changes in the batting department as the current batting order is not working.

Mumbai Indians doing their MI thing.

Under the absence of Rohit Sharma, local players like Ishan Kishan, Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik and Krunal Pandya have stepped up for them.

Quinton de kock obviously leading the batting from front and Pollard's presence down the order makes this team a formidable one.

It is hard to believe that Surya Kumar Yadav didn't make into Indian team though he is from Mumbai Brigade! Probably the kind of guy whom we required during WC SF against NZ...!

Yes Mumbai always remains formidable in Indian cricket! Like Ranji, they have also stomped their authority in IPL... Chennai was lucky to have Dhoni & more importantly Srinivasan on their side! RCB not reflecting the Karnataka dominance in Ranji (2nd most titles after Mumbai). Mumbai seems to have kept their head straight & relied upon their local talents as the core! While RCB denied their local talents for the most and CSK borrowed all the top guns from outside!

SKY will get his chance. Actually when the selection was made, Samson was ahead of him in reckoning( that Mumbai chase from Samson happened just before) and Pandey last played T20 international also and had a good IPL as well. So, they got prioritised.

Before the WC 2019 period, I don't think SKY had enough performances to be given a go.

In ODIs, Iyer is still our best bet at 4. In T20s, SKY could be preferred but Iyer's T20 performance got ignored because of his ODI exploits.

This is going to affect DC's NRR as well. SRH easily qualify if they just win their two remaining matches! RR will wish CSK to beat KXI, so that they can have a literal QF against KKR... RCB & DC need just wins... KKR's position is the most hopeless! They are almost out of it already (2nd team to get disqualified to playoffs) and needs a miraculous big margin win tomorrow!

6 teams are fighting for 3 playoff spots

DC seem to be heavily reliant on Dhawan. If he fails, they tend to fail almost of them having got in them to play a match-winning innings.

110 was a pathetic total.
