It has been proved over last few matches now that the Pollard's and Russell's are not good enough for these slow wickets of Chennai. The West Indians are proper bullies on flat wickets but don't have the game to thrive on Chennai type wickets.

In my opinion, it will not be wrong to say that Warner and de Villiers are comfortably the two greatest IPL batsman of all-time with Gayle being the third best as the former two thrive irrespective of the kind of pitches they play at. Among Indian batsmen, Suresh Raina is the greatest in IPL.

The Delhi bowlers gave their batsman just about a manageable total to chase, just, I would say. Another 10 runs and the whole drama of the previous matches at the Chennai pitch would´ve repeatedly itself. This is a dangerous pitch for batsmen.
