What's new

India (271/1) defeat South Africa (270) by 9 wickets in 3rd ODI to win series 2-1

Great to see Virat letting it loose at this age playing one format. Never seen him hitting sixes this frequently. This is a Virat who wants to unleash
Ya.. He is becoming Rohit slowly. No more rolling of wrists and keeping it along the carpet.

India did not edge past, they trounced SA in today’s match.

Good to see top order fire. RoKo still has some juice left. The issue is do they have enough left till 2027.

First their favourite England collapsed badly and brink of losing the another test. Temu Tendulkar failed when they needed it Most.

Now India thrashed South Africa in one sided affair yet edge past 🤣🤣🤣

A comprehensive win for India. Kohli in sublime form throughout the series.

What can we conclude from recent events?

India need Rohit and Kohli to win consistently. Once they retire, they may struggle in ODI just like Test. :inti

it just concludes that even end of the career Kohli is better than Babbar, also Kohli and Rohit need to be dropped to know how their replacements will play for a given amount of time which should be this year.

India beat SOuth Africa in South Africa 2-1 without Kohli, Rohit, Gill, Pant, Pandya,Bumrah

India also beat full strength SA in 2022 when entire main team was in A ustralia preparing for 2022 world T20.

It is comical to claim India's LOI future depent on them.

Depends if they still have the form and hunger to carry on till 2027. The next World Cup is still a long way away.

I think Kohli is still needed in tests.

However, he has moved on and one needs to respect his decision.

Family life and kid’s education in England rightly takes priority now. Playing ODIs only allows him to do just that.

Kohli averaged 30 in the last 5 years. He is the worst performer in Tests.

D/N games in sub-continent must start at around 12 local time. We cannot have dew being such a significant factor almost every game.

1:30 pm is fine. India lost the 2nd ODI because the lower order sucked compared to Brevis , Jansen and Bosch

No, split ODI is the only solution 20 or 25 overs - 2 innings each day & night...
