This is the official statement of Indian government. If that is their policy going forward then how long will it take to get things back on normal. And what about the Asia cup stance in light of following statement?

Feel bad for Irfan Pathan, man bent over backwards mid argument just to flash his loyalty badge. And then the Indian government turned around and okayed matches with Pakistan on neutral ground. That’s not just a no ball, that’s bowling an entire over of wides and still celebrating like you took a wicket.

Look at it ths other way. Asia cup hockey can happen without Pakistan and they are easily replacable. Cricket cannot be organized without India. Hence PCB couldnt host the entire Champions Trophy in Pakistan by removing India out. Wonder why mard ke bachey became bhikaris then and came all the way to Dubai to play India.

India refused to play in Pakistan because of security concerns, but no other team gave a damn about Indian sentiment and played their own matches in Pakistan.

India thought other teams would follow suit and the whole CT will be shifted to the UAE. In the end, the only thing they achieved was play their own matches in the UAE.

England and Australia played a cracker in Lahore in front of a full house and it was a beautiful slap on Indian faces.

This is how Pakistan humiliated India in response. Not only did they refuse to play in India for the Asia Cup, they forced BCCI to move the entire tournament to UAE.

They could have easily played their matches in UAE while other teams including India played in India, but that didn’t happen.

The richest and most powerful board got bullied hard. Then to cover their embarrassment, delusional Indian clowns claimed that India will not participate in the Asia Cup or will not play vs Pakistan, but that didn’t happen either.

Complete and utter humiliation.

India don't care about what others country think. Indian player's threat is Pakistan 1000X than others country player's.

You beloved terrorist organisations who attacks on Indian citizens mostly and for @Major UN designated terrorist Hafiz Saeed is hero as shown by his dp few days ago so Indian players security thread reason was valid .

PCB said prior to champion trophy that we will not think about Hybrid model but in few days they know own Aaukat and accepted the Hybrid model.

Why BCCI us playing Asia cup ,I already explained .ask @DeadlyVenom I already exposed him as well.

India had their chance, not once, not twice, but thrice and many times over.

May 2025 was the moment Pakistan stopped bestowing mercy upon India.

Plus, there will never be peace between Islam and the Cult. Islam sacrifices cows, the Cult worship cows.

India is history, one of the most ungrateful people on earth and I say the following with sincerity - I feel sorry for the honest, objective & critical thinking, humble Indian - regardless of your race, colour, and creed - the cult are letting you lot down!

Y’all think way too highly of yourselves, last time you tried that, you ended up right back to eating Chinese takeout instead of American cuisine.

You're too merciful.

Last time the cult came out with their bravado, it took 25000 - twenty five thousand - British troops to conquer ALL of India.

Bot only conquered, but stripped the cult off and identity to the point they are desperately seeking one.

In last time Full fledge war you lost your half Country and biggest surrendered since World war 2.

Recently you lost your entire defence system, radars, Airbases, multiple jets just in four days before begging for Ceasefire.

Then it’s sealed, nothing says “resetting ties” like Kung Pao chicken drowning in extra red chili sauce. One bite for friendship, two bites for trade deals, and three bites when you gotta politely ignore that those Made in China jets already turned an Indian pilot into yesterday’s headline. 😉

Asked aand forces how many JF-10 and F-16 down by Indian airforce.

They can't save any of your airbase in recent and whole of Pakistan under attacks by Indian Missiles

Pakistan couldn't even do one impact on Indian bases.

That's show your junk Missiles and defence system.

If Pakistan would have not begged for Ceasefire than they would have surrendered once again against India.

Where were the raped and converted Hindus aka the Paksitani Muslims when the 25k britishers colonized and brutalized the Mughals to conquer India.

Ya man after May 2025 someone left the beautiful Cantonese cusine to have pork roast in USA land... Tells the story of being ordered to stop Banian in 4 hrs and then humiliated to nominate for peace prize while bombing fellow Islamic terrorist country.

Awwww, you skipped the most important part.

We took the tournament out of Pakistan, then kicked Pakistan out of the tournament and then won the finals. There can’t be a bigger humiliation than that. Stop presenting it as some sort of victory, your team got humiliated.

CT2025 was easily the biggest humiliation Pakistan Cricket ever had to face.

Their fans were eagerly looking forward to the tournament and expected Pakistani team and their King Babar to produce memorable performances.

Instead they got a reality check yet again that India is now on a different level not just in sports but everything that matters.

Their Pakistani team returned from UAE with eggs on their faces and the hope of finally reviving their cricket culture was nailed to the cross.

You didn’t take the tournament out of Pakistan; you only negotiated to schedule your own matches outside.

Taking the tournament out of a country is what PCB did to BCCI in the Asia Cup. 🐒

Jay Shah organising Indo-Pak cricket match is treason, Sanjay Raut writes to PM Modi

Mumbai, Aug 23 (UNI) Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena Rajya Sabha MP and chief party spokesperson Sanjay Raut has written a signed letter to Prime Minister Modi condemning the decision to allow India-Pakistan cricket matches.

Raut also tweeted a soft copy of his letter to the PM and tagged it to the X handles of both PM Modi and union Home Minister Amit Shah. He interacted with media persons today. "Honourable Prime Minister, the blood of the Indians killed in the Pahalgam attack has not yet dried, and the tears of their families have not yet stopped. So, playing cricket matches with Pakistan is inhuman!" Raut's tweet read.

In his letter written on official Member of Parliament letterhead, Raut expressed deep pain over the union Sports Ministry's decision to give the greenlight to India-Pakistan matches in the Asia Cup cricket tournament.

The forthcoming edition of the Asia Cup will start from September 9 in the UAE with India-Pakistan matches to be played in Dubai. The first match is scheduled for September 14, with a possible second encounter in the Super 4 stage.

Raut questioned the Prime Minister's stance, asking how cricket could be played with Pakistan if "Operation Sindoor" was still ongoing. He referred to the Pahalgam terror attack carried out by a Pakistani terrorist group which claimed 26 lives.

"You declared that blood and water cannot flow together. Now will blood and cricket flow together?" Raut wrote.

The Shiv Sena leader alleged that matches against Pakistan involve large-scale betting and online gambling, with many BJP members allegedly involved. He specifically mentioned Jay Shah, son of union Home Minister Amit Shah, who currently chairs the International Cricket Council.

Raut questioned whether there was significant financial turnover for the BJP in these arrangements and termed the decision as treating the nation's sentiments as worthless.

Speaking to media persons, Raut said the biggest betting on India-Pakistan cricket matches was done from Gujarat and Rajasthan, with Mumbai coming next. He alleged that online gambling was done mostly from Gujarat.

"Jay Shah is the current mastermind of cricket. His father is the country's Home Minister.

I mean, the onus of preserving national sentiments seems to be only on us but his children can approve India-Pakistan matches. What kind of nationalism is this? I call it treason," Raut said.

He warned that no India-Pakistan match would be allowed to take place in Delhi and threatened to disrupt any such match organised anywhere in the country.

Meanwhile, the Congress issued a statement questioning the logic of playing cricket whilst claiming that a war was ongoing with Pakistan. The party pointed to stopped water supply, trade, and medical visas as contradictory to sporting engagement. However, Maharashtra BJP spokesperson Navnath Ban countered Raut's allegations, calling him an "Aurangzeb Fan Club spokesperson" who suffered from amnesia. He reminded that despite terrorist attacks, the Congress government had invited Pakistan to play in India.

Ban recalled that it was due to Congress's 1991 decision to invite the Pakistan cricket team that Balasaheb Thackeray's Shiv Sainiks had dug up the pitch of the Wankhede Stadium.

The BJP clarified its position that under no circumstances would Indian or Pakistani cricketers come to Indian soil to play games. "We do not bring sports and blood together," the party stated.

Ban accused Raut of forgetting history whilst aligning with Congress and termed him "a spokesperson for Pakistan."

Things are changing rapidly.

A few developments recently and my view: India got hurt recently during OBM, got burnt by US and realized china and pak union is too tough for them to mount a challenge. Now modi is being chummy chummy with china and trying to establish good relations with them hoping to get US back in their corner.

I feel this thawing stance is all down to their strategy now of licking their wounds, becoming friends with the big dog in the region and becoming less confrontational with Pakistan but doing to cleverly so they don’t end up pis.s.ing off their voter base.

Dear Bald Bhai,

I welcome this statement, as it provides much needed clarity on India’s official stance. India is a responsible nation that adheres to its international obligations. Choosing not to engage in bilateral relations with Pakistan is a sovereign decision and it must be respected.

At the same time, in multinational tournaments it is not in the interest of the sport, nor of Indian sportspersons, to keep conceding walkovers to Pakistan. The Government of India has clearly weighed the legal, financial, and moral aspects before arriving at this position.

On a personal level, individuals who still feel the pain of the Pahalgam incident and the violence that followed are free to boycott these matches, as I also have. Those who do choose to engage will hopefully carry themselves with dignity and in honour of those who still grieve.

Ultimately, my hope is that the wounds on both sides heal with time. Many in Pakistan also suffered deeply as a result of these events, and they too deserve peace, free from the noise and baggage that cricket often brings.

Nice try Bhaijaan, but still not a plausible explanation. Why so fuss on WCL and change of heart now?

Responsible nations don’t turn down requests for mediation and sharing of evidence for a beef for which they start wars — then randomly call a truce when they are getting a beating.
That’s actually called irresponsible, coward, Chappu, etc
P.s just commenting because you tagged me. I have no interest in this overall because, with all due respect as usual this was a troll post from you.

First of all, no one dragged the Champions Trophy out of Pakistan, despite the fantasies of some. The PCB stood its ground against a bully and even managed to negotiate a hybrid model for upcoming tournaments in India. That was a proper win for PCB. If it were up to you, the tournament would have been hosted in Timbuktu. :misbah

Secondly, not winning a tournament you host isn't exactly a tragedy. 2023 WC comes to mind.
:rohit

And fans of every team have been expecting fireworks from their players forever just like you expect Pant to channel his inner Gilchrist in LOIs, only to end up with egg smeared all over your face. :yk :inti

Pakistan stance should be clear - Pakistan does not play with Saffron terrorists.

Pakistan should use India's template and paint a proven picture of Indian terrorism with Shiv Sena and Modi at the helm.

Flip it to the world, green is the colour of success, orange is the colour of terror.

Pakistan doesn't need India, but India needs Pakistan.

Time to deny Hindutva India yet another wish!

You forgot coup de-grace when we even took away even the Medal ceremony from Pakistan and for good measure even the PCB chief and all his minions from the ceremony after the final and replaced them with BCCI people ... ufff that was brutal humiliation. Maaza aagaya.

From our perspective, there are no wounds to heal on the Pakistani side. We firmly believe in the power of forgiveness, forgetting the past, and moving forward. For the last couple of years, our agenda has been centred around peace. Harbouring hate requires a great deal of energy, and quite frankly, that is energy we simply do not possess. Our focus is on fostering harmony and building a better future together.

Additionally, there have been some perceptions among certain Indian circles that the Pakistani atomic programme is akin to Diwali fireworks with not much substance. We must stress that such thoughts are not only dangerous but also irresponsible. It is crucial to approach such matters with the gravity and seriousness they deserve, rather than trivialising them.
Let's continue to work together towards a more peaceful and harmonious future.
