You turned into Iran and Yemen firing missiles, like you had 35 years of sanctions and no airforce![]()
Because that is exactly what happened i.e India did all the damage and Pakistan did nothing in return. You cant expect erudite posters like Devadwal and I to lie to make you feel better. If you want to hear what you want to hear from an Indian, there are other posters hereCould be more than six jets. India’s admitting that jets were shot down, but they’re not saying how many. They’re not confirming six, but they’re not giving a clear number either. Nor are they denying it.
They're basically saying, yeah, some of our jets went down, but we hit back and did some damage too.
So it kind of lines up with Pakistan’s version that India struck first, then Pakistan responded, and after that, India called for a ceasefire. But some people on here, like @Rajdeep and @Devadwal , are pushing the idea that India did all the damage and Pakistan did nothing in return which honestly sounds more like a Bollywood script than what really happened.
Lol no mention of jets hereBecause that is exactly what happened i.e India did all the damage and Pakistan did nothing in return. You cant expect erudite posters like Devadwal and I to lie to make you feel better. If you want to hear what you want to hear from an Indian, there are other posters herewho will dance in your tune. However, job for some of us is to speak the truth, how uncomfortable it is.
Here are the truths and sequence of events (which I have repeated multiple times before as well):
The above is the documented fact and is what happened. Rest all you read, hear or say are fake news like the fake image Shahbaz Shariff was giving to Asim Munir while promoting it.
- Asim Munir’s Statement: Pakistan’s Army Chief Asim Munir made controversial remarks perceived as anti-Hindu.
- Terror Attack: Three days later terrorists kill 26 hindu tourists, after checking religion inside their pants and by asking them to read Kalma.
- Public Outrage in India: The attack triggered massive anger across India, with intense pressure on the government to respond decisively.
- Indian Retaliation – May 7 (Morning): In the early hours of 7th May, India launched precision missile strikes 50 km deep inside Pakistan, targeting terrorist camps run by Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba. Multiple terrorists were killed, reportedly including 14 members of Masood Azhar’s family, including his brother who master minded IC 814 hijack. India did lose one Rafale jet in the operation.
- Operation Concluded: India’s objective was met with that strike, and the operation was considered complete.
- Pakistan’s Response – May 7 (Night): Pakistan got humiliated and retaliated on 7 May night, by launching a blitz of mortar shells on Jammu, particularly Poonch, killing civilians, and damaging homes and religious sites.
- Drone Incursions – May 8 (Night): Pakistan send drones on mainland Indian cities like Amritsar, Himachal and Gujarat. It led to the stoppage of IPL game. India negated all of these strikes by the S-400 missile system from Adampur Air Force Station.
- Denial – May 9 (Morning): Embarrassed by the failure of their strikes, a Pakistani minister claimed there were no drone attacks the previous night, hahaha.
- India’s Continued Strikes – May 9 (Morning): India responded with drone and air strikes on Pakistani military positions. Pakistan claimed to have intercepted these.
- Escalation – May 9 (Night): Pakistan escalated by launching drone attacks on 26 Indian cities. Most were intercepted by India’s missile defense systems.
- Missile Attacks – May 10 (Early Hours): Pakistan launched missile strikes on Indian airbases in Punjab. One of the most serious threats, a Fatah-II missile, was intercepted near Sirsa Air Force Station. There was speculation it was targeting Delhi.
- India’s Counterattacks – May 10 (Night): India also attacked back extensively damaging air bases at Skardu, Sargodha, Jacobabad, and Bholari in Pakistan. The Nur Khan airbase in Rawalpindi was hit at 2:09 am,and the resulting explosion and flames caused mass panic in the densely populated area.At 3:30 am, Pakistan acknowledged attacks on airbases (Nur Khan, Rafiqi, and Murid), and said they were from air-to-surface missiles launched from fighter jets. Pakistan's media also reported that the Rahim Yar Khan airport was damaged. Pakistan shut down its air space later in the day..
- Pakistan’s Operation "Bunyan-um-Marsoos": Pakistan claimed to have struck and caused major damage to 26 military targets, including 15 air bases and also claimed that the BrahMos storage facilities at Beas and Nagrota were destroyed which India denied and released time-stamped images of the targets as evidence, and reported minor damage to its airbases. That the extent of damage to the Indian airstrips was minimal was further confirmed through commercial imagery obtained by The New York Times..
- Ceasefire – May 10, 5:00 PM: A ceasefire was reportedly brokered by then-U.S. President Donald Trump later in the evening.
Please review the above timelines and let us know how, when and why Pakistan won? LOL

The outcome of the war is that Pakistan cannot be defeated conventionally as it has air superiority and even more so from August onwards. Pakistan is now emboldened and Indian forces are now sitting ducks in their own country and Pakistan can attack anywhere at will now... That is the real outcome of the war.So what was the FINAL outcome of the War according to YOU? India lost and Pak won ?
@the Great Khan - dunno if you missed it listen from 0.29 onwards. Indian CDS confirms that they corrected the tactical and other errors they made and then planes were airborne after two days, meaning PAF grounded IAF for two days!!!

Yes folks, IAF was grounded for two days during the war.... What will happen when the stealth jet comes on board. It is game over.
I have not posted what pakistan thinks I showed you what the world thinks. None of those sources were PakistaniForget about what Pakistan says or what India says. I am here to understand how YOU process as being factually correct information ( I will post my understanding of what happened later )

So India did nothing serious on May 10th is that your final position ? If so when did India attack your air bases May 9th or even before ? Or you saying no such attack happened ?
Ceasefire happened.... Surrender Modi ran to Trump to save him.what happened after those Two days ?

Ok ok you win.In cricket, as long as you chase the target successfully, you win the match. It doesn't matter if you lost 1, 3 or 5 wickets in the process to get to those runs. The team that loses try try to find happiness that their bowlers at least got some wickets. This is exactly what is happening here.
I repeat, planes do crash and soldiers do die in a war. USA lost 95000 aircrafts in WW2. However, as long as the ultimate motto of the war is achieved, it is considered successful mission.
Pakistanis are hung into this 1 jet down, 2 jets down, 5 jets down and every day changing numbers and opening multiple threads because deep down they know 'Endia ne ghar me ghus ke maara'. To hide this embarrassment and pain, they are latching onto anything to find choti choti khusiyan.
I don't mind this but in grand scheme of things losing a jet is really no big deal. I have said this on 7th May itself here when Major opened that thread.

Ceasefire happened.... Surrender Modi ran to Trump to save him.
No wonder Trump has renewed respect for Pakistan.
The timeline I posted is in GMT, so the correct date is May 9th, not May 10th. If you're using Indian standard time , then Pakistan's attacks began after 4 AM. So I'm not sure what you're trying to prove here either way pakistan retaliated after the attacks your pointing out and after that india ran for a ceasefiresure thing ... but your post mentioned about what Pakistan/India said hence my response was to address that part of your post.
According to Chinese media which is heavily Anti-Indian and pro-Pakistan this is what happened:
Link: https://english.news.cn/20250510/f29e58cb9f2044a1b8b76f0f82b1377b/c.html
Main tidbit from that link:
India carried out missile and drone strikes targeting multiple Pakistani military installations in Punjab province, including Nur Khan Air Base in Rawalpindi district near the capital city of Islamabad, Murid Air Base in Chakwal district, and Shorkot Air Base in Jhang district, Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, director general of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of Pakistani army, told the media.
He claimed that India also launched drone and missile strikes in Afghanistan.
"These unprovoked and reckless acts demonstrate India's madness and treacherous nature," the officer said, adding that "through its continued aggression, India is pushing the region towards a dangerous and unnecessary conflict. Now you just wait for our response," said Chaudhry.
Talking to Xinhua on condition of anonymity, official sources said that four missiles were fired at Nur Khan Air Base. Two of them struck the runway at 2:15 a.m. and 2:20 a.m. local time (GMT 2115 and 2120 Friday), while two others were reportedly intercepted by Pakistan's air defense systems.
It is you who needs to think. I know it is difficult for you as your fake news media has turned you into a radicalised zombie. If Modi surrendered why is your prime minister begging for talks with Modi ? Why did Trump do a U-Turn later when India bluntly refused his claim that he mediated the cease fire and openly stated that it was Pakistan DGMO that first reached out and asked for Cease fire ? Why is the Indus water treaty still suspended ? Most importantly why is India telling every single UN Security council member countries that next time there is terror threat it will be automatically treated as a act of war and India will respond with force.
Just think!!!

Maybe the script writers will come up with something new for you tomorrow.....Except that the last Indian attack was in the afternoon on the last day of the War which is well into 10th May even according to GMT time. Do you dispute this ?
It is you who needs to think. I know it is difficult for you as your fake news media has turned you into a radicalised zombie.
India is doing that to save face but no one cares and most importantly for domestic consumption.
What your trying to argue that after pakistan beat india black and blue india called the last attack and called for ceasefire? Nice copy paste. At least give credit to the source you have used. This writing is clearly not yours.Op Sindoor had two objectives: 1) hit terrorist bases in Pakistan & PoK. 9 bases were obliterated and objective achieved
2) to dominate the escalation ladder. Again, this objective was achieved because despite initial jet loss, india not only beat back Pakistani attacks but continued to escalate until the Failed generals begged for a ceasefire after their air force was grounded, their air bases dysfunctional, their command and control systems damaged, their air defences taken out. The loss of a jet not the metric on basis of which Op Sindoor is to be judged. The achievement of the objective is the only metric to judge the success of the operation.
What followed was the grounding of the famed PAF, the complete decimation of Turkish drones and the destruction of Chinese junk tech in air defences and radars. All Indian platforms - Rafales, SU30s, the air defence system performed splendidly after the initial hiccups and caused enormous damage which forced the Failed marshal to sue for peace.

Tum " Center of gravity" samaj loNice copy paste. At least give credit to the source you have used. This writing is clearly not yours.
The biggest admission was the Indian CDS admitting that the “tactical mistake which cost them multiple jets” meant that Indian aircraft were grounded for 2 days. Imagine the Air superiority PAF established.
When they flew again they were pushed deeper into Indian territory to avoid being shot down. These are huge admissions from their most senior military guy in India. Imagine being pushed deeper into own territory after PAF made your own soil your graveyard.
Not only did PAF pound them, they established air superiority and even then practiced restrained because for 48 hours IAF was crippled. No wonder the world is opening arms for Pak.
Wait and watch, a lot more is going to be revealed including the damage from the operation Pak did on the last day before ceasefire.
This was a monumental victory, unprecedented in modern aircombat. Mubarak ho Pakistanio. Celebrate it. You lost destroyed their Air Force and Morale.
I saw on Facebook they lost 100+ soldiers.
I think 100+ is a realistic number because Pakistan targeted many of their bases successfully.
They definitely lost big. It was why they asked for a ceasefire in less than 5 days.![]()

More likely, india still haven’t disclosed the damages, they have only recently admitted to minimum of 3 jets being downed that too when they are getting cornered by international journalists. there was heavy shelling at the borders its quite likely.I saw on Facebook they lost 100+ soldiers.

They forgot to mention the S400 taken out at Udampur..while their air defences were busy with drones and lonely jf17 fired its hypersonic cm400. They will never admit to that one. There is an internal re calibration taking place even of BJP MLA's they sometimes slip and tell the truth but then have to apologise.
Bharatiya Janata Party MLA Ranbir Singh Pathania, released a video late Wednesday night trying to douse the flames he created after he called the Indian Air Force personnel stationed at the Udhampur airbase incompetent and accused them of sleeping during Operation Sindoor.
“Bharat Mata Ki Jai, Indian Air Force Ki Jai. Our forces have always brought pride to the country. Our army has won against Pakistan in a few days,” the BJP MLA said, saying that the viral clip had been edited.
Earlier in the day, the Udhampur East legislator, stood with residents opposing a notice from the Udhampur Air Force Station that called for the removal of homes and shops along the road adjacent to the base, to enable road widening.
He said that the law does not allow land to be taken without acquisition and compensation.
In a viral video clip circulating across social media, Pathania says: “Everyone knows what happened at the Air Force station during Operation Sindoor. They must be incompetent, they were sleeping, we are not at fault. We have given the Indian Army a lot of respect.”
The Udhampur airbase was at the centrestage of the latest India-Pakistan conflict.
On May 10, India said that Pakistani drones, missiles, loitering munitions, and airstrikes targeted 26 locations in India, including the Udhampur airbase.
A soldier was killed when he was hit by a fragment of a Pakistani drone, which was successfully intercepted by the Army Air Defence at the Udhampur airbase, reported The Hindu. But there was no damage to the airbase or the runway.
Pathania’s comments led to the Opposition criticising the BJP for its continuous remarks on the armed forces.
Congress leader Udit Raj said, “BJP doesn’t respect the Indian Army. Congress knows how to respect the Army. There were six surgical strikes, but Congress never tried to take credit for them. Here, BJP is taking credit. BJP MLA Ranbir Singh Pathania is saying, ‘Were the Air Force sleeping?’ He is questioning their preparations. If BJP and Narendra Modi have even a little respect left for the Army, they should expel RS Pathania from the party.”
Samajwadi Party MP Pushpendra Saroj called the remarks “shameful.”
“It's shameful that leaders from BJP, whether ministers, MPs, or MLAs, are making repeated statements against the Indian Army. The Army stands as a pillar of national security. If we sleep peacefully today, it's because of their sacrifice. They’re also fighting for rightful demands like pensions, which I’ve raised in Parliament. There’s a serious shortage of personnel, and the government must act. Instead of supporting the Army, BJP leaders are criticising it; this is deeply unfortunate,” Saroj said.
Earlier, on May 14, BJP MP Kunwar Vijay Shah, speaking near Indore, delivered a line soaked in communal and gendered undertones aimed at Colonel Sofia Qureshi.
Right-wing trolls even abused India's foreign secretary Vikram Misri online after he announced a ceasefire with Pakistan on behalf of the government. Misri was accused of “surrendering.”

Oh dear. More fairytales. I'll deal with rajdeep later. But let's deal.with this nonsense.
Can you point to the evidence of the destruction of these mysterious bases.? If killing children and civilians was your objective then I guess you achieved it. If you think madrassas are terrorist camps we'll they were empty as they had been emptied the night before and the children relocated. Yes you were allowed to take those shots. Now that does sound quite strange. Why let your enemy take those shots? Let me explain.
In peacetime Pakistan has a very restrained set of ROE's. We have ditched the offensive doctrines of the past and have settled on a defensive posture within our territory. This has the advantage of allowing us the ability to take cover under article 51 of the UN charter on the right to self defence. So we saw your planes in the air. We let them fire and then as soon as they did, the ROE's changed from deterrence to destruction. Thus your Raffas were brought down immediately. That shows that they were unaware they had been locked on. Which also indicates a failure of the on board much touted Spectre active stealth system. Hence why France wants to know what happened. The Migs and the Su30's are just cannon fodder now and they were easily dealt with as was the mirage 2000.
Now let's deal with this myth of the grounding of the PAF. Where is the evidence that this was the case? If you ground an airforce when you are the aggressor then you have the upper hand and the ability to hit multiple targets at will. Which targets were destroyed by airforce intervention the next day? None. Not a single one. What we did see was an admission of defeat in the use of drones and brahmos. Our integrated AD (which still has gaps no doubt) brought down around 70 odd drones and a number of Scalp and Brahmos. That is no mean feat considering Pakistans geography makes it vulnerable to missile and drone attack.
But what was hit? Nur Khan. Yes. But was fully operational within hours. Thus no major damage. Bolari. Yes and we lost a squadron leader. But again it was operational within hours and we had patrols airborne from the same site's. Rafiqui? Nope. That attack failed. I could go on. Overall what did you achieve?
Here's what you achieved.
1) images of children in hospital invoking the same outrage as the Gaza genocide. And then support from the genocide state came promptly. Destroying any goodwill India thought it had. The world saw India trying to copy genocide.
2) the open embrace of China. China after seeing the waybits system performed is cockahoop and has openly come out to show its full strategic support for Pakistan. This means any future hot war will include China on Pakistans side. Openly. Thus deterring western support for India. No western country will openly antagonise China. Deterrence is now gone. Kashmir now includes China as a antagonist.
3) the complete humiliation of the IAF as a credible fighting force. There was already a massive recruitment problem with this force and after this no Indian will want to be associated with losses. One thing I have learnt over the years is the desire to always be seen to win, in the Indian psyche. You hate associating yourselves with losers or be seen to be losers. Thus most Indians will mock the airforce and would rather join commercial air companies or tech companies. Why risk your life for a bunch of incompetents who can't even handle bekari Pakistan??.
4) the end of the Modi story. He is now increasingly being seen as a liability. He thought he could take advantage of a political opportunity but failed and is now looking vulnerable.
5) the strengthening of Asim Munir and the corrupt Junta. This is bad for Pakistan inmho and a blow for a true democratic Pakistan. So thanks alot for that one...
That is a basic analysis from my part. We can go into the performance of the airforces album i will refrain for now..
See the Bholari airbase satelite imaginary , Indian destroyed Entire hanger and 3-4 aircraft inside the hanger as well .Ok. That's not a hardened aircraft shelter. Looks like a warehouse. Will be repaired with a day or so. Is that all you have?
'Modi govt misled nation,' says Congress after CDS admits loss of fighter jets in clash with Pakistan
After the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) Gen Anil Chauhan acknowledged loss of India fighter jets by Pakistan during Operation Sindoor, the Congress on Saturday launched a scathing attack on the Government for ‘misleading the nation’, reiterating its demand of a special Parliament session to explain damages suffered during the four-day conflict and also the role of US in brokering ceasefire.
Congress President and Leader of Opposition in the Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge demanded a comprehensive review of India's defence preparedness by an independent expert committee following the remarks made by CDS during an TV interview in Singapore.
“In the wake of the remarks made by the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) in Singapore in an interview, there are some very important questions which need to be asked. These can only be asked if a Special Session of the Parliament is immediately convened. The Modi Govt has misled the nation. The fog of war is now clearing,” said Kharge.
He also reiterated that the Congress supports the Indian armed forces. “Our IAF pilots were risking their lives fighting the enemy. We have suffered some losses, but our pilots were safe. As per CDS's interview, "we made, remedy it, rectify it, and then implement it again after two days and flew all our jets again, targeting at long range". We salute their resolute courage and bravery,” Kharge said.
Latching on to the comment by the CDS, Congress leader Uttam Kumar Reddy said that the country wanted to know whether any aircraft were downed during the conflict.
“A government has to be transparent. Accountability is normal in a democracy. This is not about patriotism. We are more patriotic. Our first family, the Gandhi family, themselves suffered and have made huge sacrifices for the integrity of the country and these people question us. This is really shocking, bizarre,” the Congress leader said.
Referring to repeated claims about negotiating truce between India and Pakistan by US president Donald Trump, Kharge insisted on clarification from Prime Minister Narendra Modi stating that US involvement is a ‘direct affront to the Shimla Agreement’.
“PM Modi is on an election blitz, taking personal credit for the valour of our Armed forces, hiding behind their bravery and dodging the contours of the agreed ceasefire, which the foreign secretary announced on 10th (May), after Mr. Trump’s tweet. …Is India and Pakistan now again hyphenated? What are the conditions of the ceasefire agreement?,” the Congress leader posted on ‘X’.
He further demanded a comprehensive review of India’s defence preparedness by an independent expert committee on the lines of the Kargil Review Committee set up by Atal Bihari Vajpayee in 1999.
Putting emphasis on the formation of the review committee, Congress general secretary (communication) Jairam Ramesh said that the Committee was formed three days after the Kargil War ended and it had submitted its detailed report five months later.
“On July 29, 1999, the Vajpayee Govt set up the Kargil Review Committee under the chairmanship of India's strategic affairs guru K Subrahmanyam - whose son is now our External Affairs Minister… The report titled ‘From Surprise to Reckoning’ was then laid on the Table of both Houses of Parliament on Feb 23, 2000 after the necessary redactions. Will the Modi Govt now take a similar step in light of what the Chief of Defence Staff has just revealed in Singapore?,” he also wrote on ‘X’.

Because its embarrassing. Russians lost tens of strategic bombers today and their military and propogandist telegram channels immediately confirmed the losses.Unspecified number of jets? So it is not just one jet? Why don't they disclose the exact number?![]()
They have crafted this fantasy of an invincible superpower, one that only destroys its enemies and never suffers a loss. And with the Bihar elections around the corner, the last thing they want is any dent in that image.Because its embarrassing. Russians lost tens of strategic bombers today and their military and propogandist telegram channels immediately confirmed the losses.
But Indian government has an allergy to inconvenient facts

Also never ask Modi and his empty-headed fans how many skirmishes they have won vs Pakistan.
Sticky it on your own forum… you’ll find no shortage of takers there..Because that is exactly what happened i.e India did all the damage and Pakistan did nothing in return.
LOL
Matlab kuch bhi
I will not repeat this sequence again in future as it takes lots of time and effort. Maybe PP should convert it into an article and sticky it somewhere.
Rajdeep.
